Hello! Today I assembled the second version of this bass amplifier, but I used not a bc547 but a germanium transistor GT404, manufactured in the Soviet Union. Only its gain is low, but I hope that the bass will be softer than on the bc547.

Good afternoon Sir! As I said earlier, I assembled it on a GT 404 transistor, but when turned on it emitted noise on its own. And I don’t understand the reason, yesterday I replaced the GT 404 with a silicon KT 805 (also made in the Soviet Union) and yet it also makes noise. What could be the reason, is it possible that it is due to a lower of supply voltage, since mine is 5 volts. Or the problem is in the resistors, I set the same values as yours. Please tell me what to look for the reason. In terms of signal amplification, it increases power quite well. I can record it and show it tomorrow (I’ll record a video)

It increases the output Stage.That's pretty much like a drive stage or preamp using that little transistor. Works similar to a op-amp. And the right caps and resistors to create a bass and high frequency filter doubler 😁 good work.
