When you're hosting a party, you don't always have time to also be the bartender. Today, we're talking about how to batch cocktails for a crowd, and we're using THE BEST variation on a Black Manhattan to do it- it's a Thanksgiving Manhattan!
The principles are the same, no matter what cocktail recipe you are using. The thing you need to think about is proper dilution, shelf life, and if there are any carbonated elements in your cocktail. We went with a Manhattan because it's high proof (longer shelf life), has no carbonated elements, and it's just damn delicious.

Makes 14 4oz Cocktails
750 ml/25oz/3.1c Rye Whiskey (Noble Oak)
375ml/12.5oz/1.5c Sweet Vermouth (Carpano Antica)
187ml/6oz/.75c Amaro (Averna)
187ml/6oz/.75c Water
20 Dashes/.75oz Bitters (pecan or angostura)
