Yeah, I agree - when all the variables change at once (the smoke method and the drink components) it's hard to tell which method is 'best' for a given cocktail, so I too would love to see different methods applied to the same drink to really tell how each approach works!

Not unless you want and explosion and/or toxic fumes! Don’t use gunpowder- it’s made from sulfur and potassium nitrate mixed with charcoal (I literally checked with my explosives expert). So yes, sounds fun, but very bad idea 😂
