Fun project! I belong to a makerspace and we are working on a project to cut liquor bottles in half and turn them into nice drinking glasses.

Wow! This was good information! I have tried making some liqueurs with the erythritol and I did get the crystallization after it cooled off. Such a bummer. So good to know that allulose does not have that property. And I never thought of adding a pinch of xanthan gum. Thanks for the great info!

Could the missing flavor be annatto and skip the fireball. From Wikipedia “ impart a yellow to red-orange color to foods, but sometimes also for its flavor and aroma. Its scent is described as "slightly peppery with a hint of nutmeg" and flavor as "slightly nutty, sweet and peppery".[2] “

Sooooo what if you made this in a wide mouth mason type jar and used your “Old Fashion” smoker. Put the jar in the freezer and make your mix. Pull it out wait for the condensation to form then blow the smoke in there. Add your mix and enjoy or wait for the flavor to develop.

Thanks, Jessica. I have many great and interesting bottles that I saved that would work fine. I definitely will do this and go back to watch a few times.

I’m not sure I quite understand what you’re asking… in general, I would advise keeping pets away from fire. Obviously. Beyond that, I’m truly not sure. I imagine if it’s safe for humans to be near, it’s safe for animals in general. But honestly, I don’t know. If someone has a more definitive answer, let me know!

Amazon does not ship the fuel to California. However, some hardware stores do sell Tiki Bitefighter with Citronella and Cedar.

I used your ratios but instead of sugar, I used (generic) Splenda and white rum. I'm diabetic and just don't need extra sugar in my diet. This came out fantastic! And because Splenda is so much easier to dissolve, no boiling was needed, just pour the hot coffee over the sweetener and whisk to combine.

Was just thinking the other day that it had been a while since I'd seen a new Savidge Kitchen video. Very timely subject with Summer on us. I agree that Tequila is not the first (or even second spirit) I'd reach for. That said we'll have to give a couple of these a try.
@SavidgeKitchen25 күн бұрын
I hope you enjoy them! As someone who really isn’t a big fan of tequila, these are drinks I can absolutely stand by. Margaritas for the non-tequila crowd 😂 that being said- every one of these recipes also works well with rum… Cheers!

If i could make one suggestion? Use a barrel proof bourbon (i prefer Elijah Craig, but whatever one suits your taste will work just fine). It gives it an extra kick of bourbon flavor. I use barrel proof in all my cocktails because it doesn't dilute the flavor as easily.

The main physiological effect of digestifs is that they create an abundance of saliva as a defense mechanism to perceived poison. They DO mildly stimulate peristalsis (the flexing of muscles in the digestive tract that moves gut/bowel contents along), but only a tiny bit....

I can’t find the Madhava Allulose. Is there a reason like it’s super bad for some reason? Do you know what product would be a good option if we can’t find it?

I know this was a bazillion years ago, but I just saw it recently. I just tried this "bougie" Alexander and loved it. I used a wand frother on heavy cream. I did shake it with ice because I thought it would taste great cold. A scoop of vanilla cream would be sooo tasty in this. Great cocktail creation!
