I realized this 😂. Try placing it in the gas zone so it will make normal crackling sound to mask it. This might work on players not familiar with gas zones

There's a static sound when it's on, so your average dayz player will know and ditch it or just turn it off. Me personally, I don't use them so I'd take it off the backpack and leave it there
