#4 Is spot on. It's important to ask for feedback just incase there are any blind spots in your research or presentation. I remember asking a sales manager for feedback and he said it was "weak" of me to do so since I had been a sales rep for years and was doing well. He clearly wasn't a good manager or coach because even the best can strive to do better in my book.
