Hello Andrew. I have a question for you. When you choose a protection program, such as today's sponsor, what assurance do you have that the provider isn't a security threat. How do you know your data won't be misused by one or more of the provider's employees or, worse yet, developer. I have never subscribed to any such protective services simply because I have been concerned that just opens the door to easier intrusion into my computer. Have you had those concerns?

@@johnchance1959 I think that’s a very good question. In my research on Aura, I found them to be trustworthy based on what other users have said online. They even partnered with Amex at one point. But if you’re uncertain, it’s best that you do your own research before signing up. I think it’s always a good idea to be cautious these days. Thanks for watching the video!

@@andrewclarkeguitar I don't wish to burst anyone's bubble nor to comment on the reliability or safety of protective services provided by any specific company. But your reply invites the question: "what made the comments you read online "trustworthy"? To make an accurate and reliable assessment would seem impossible???

This video is a prime example of why Andrew Clarke is one of the best guitar teachers out there today. I've played for over 20 years, and have made the most impactful and massive gains in my confidence and skill level with music thanks to this channel. From awkwardly fumbling through the pentatonic scales as fast as I could during a gig, now to actually hearing the music, crafting lead lines that make melodic sense, and actually add to the song is such a game changer. Can't say it enough: this guy friggin' gets it.

Man this really resonated with me, I find I can play melodies as I sing them & this has put a principle & structure behind that "gut" feeling, thanks once again! One of the best explained & easy to follow lessons out there...

So this opened up a connection with letting my guitar sing. rather than filling notes from a scale. Just played 2 hours over that song. It's like something cracked open and melodies oozed out. As simple as this lesson was, it made me flow into and with the music and the "spirit" of it. Thank you!!!! I was wondering, do you do any performing live like in a group or church?

Andrew, I can't play by ear & it's hard for me to figure out how to create licks. I know basics of music chords, scales, notes on the guitar neck, timing I just can't create music

It would be so much helpful if you could live transcribe and explain the thought process of playing lead guitar to other pop songs.

Can you make a video that teaches how to listen to the song and play each note precisely?
@redbloodedamerican23464 ай бұрын
That's ear training. And he has already. Ear training and precision playing are 2 different things. Completely different practices

Yeah check out some of my other videos on learning songs by ear. At the end of the day, it's very challenging to get it perfectly precise without using tools to slow down the music and having video footage of the original player actually playing it themselves.

D major and B minor are relative scales. They contain all the same notes. Longer explanation here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHTMdZ-AmtWfY9E

Well would you rather hear it at the middle of the video? I mean noone is gonna put their ad at the end because noone will watch it and if you put it in the middle its just annoying so its better to put it in the beginning so the lesson doesnt get interrupted and if you dont tolerate ads i guess you also dont like making money
