I worked as a TV presenter for an English Arabic channel that was located here in London, although it was good fun, I did not enjoy it enough and I left for that reason. I decided becoming a lawyer and blogging would be much convenient for me. As Becky stated, working on TV is not as glamorous as it is portrayed, get some experience before applying to university to get an insight as to what it is like!

I'm currently studying performance for the live and recorded media at University and I absolutely love it! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your showreel, you are truly inspirational! I am coming to the end of my 2nd year so only just over a year until graduation and I'm hoping to get my foot into the industry of acting/presenting asap but like you say - it is not easy! Hi Becky! I really want to do journalism in the future but recently I heard my sociology teacher say that the top 50% of journalists were privately educated (don't quote me on that!) I go to a comprehensive sixth form and I'm worried I have a less valid chance of making it because of this statistic. Do you have any advice or information about this??? This was SUCH a useful video, seriously and I feel more confident about following my dreams now. There's nothing like knowledge from an expert!!! Xxxxx

Definitely not! I don't think anyone in the media will care what school you went to, no one has ever asked me. I think as long as you get good grades and work hard that is all that matters, maybe more people end up in it but it definitely won't go against you, perhaps just more teachers push media jobs in private schools! Work hard and I know you will do it!!!! Good luck lovely x

I went through the whole of fairfield and loved it but just found the high school way to academic as i was quite into music and i was (and am still) so disorganised!
