Thank you for the info, I'm new to Warhammer but a big fan of the Tau. Question though before I buy the model, was Commander Farsight pushed to legacy status or still legal for play?

Really glad you enjoyed it! Farsight is very much legal to play and has a lovely new model that came out a year or so ago. Works especially well in Retaliation Cadre ;) Tom

@6PlusPlusGaming Thank you! I've been adjacent to Warhammer for years, but haven't been able to play a game yet. Got really into the lore and enjoying learning about it. I'm quite digging the Tau, just getting mixed into on the units since I heard Commander Farsight, the Space Pope, and one other named character was sent to Legacy status. It confused me because the 10th ed codex just says you can't have Farsight and Epherials in the same army.

Best thing they can do with kroot is double points cost, for in and out of the kroot detachment

Building my Tau army rn 2x fire warriors (breacher/strike team) 1x Pathfinder 1x 3 crisis suits 1x coldstar battlesuit commander 1x Ethereal 1x devilfish Rn I am thinking what else to get.

Is MONTKA that terrible?? Please explain how these two are better. On is a one shot wonder then your shot to pieces and the other you hold your breath feverishly waiting for the third turn Montka has broadsides running all over the place looking for great angles and breachers jumping out of devilish literally killing ANYTHING in the game
