The high-end market in Nairobi may be becoming saturated... But the low-end market is really booming you could earn more returns long term on that front than even on the high-end market.

LOVE this comment. So I did make a mistake, I wish I really looked at ALL price ranges vs just high end property marketed to wealthy foreigners/Kenyans. Next time I am anywhere in an African city, I will look at lower end market real estate too bc I thinks its more reasonable.

I am Kenyan but I think the apartment price of 300,000 is quite exaggerated. Assuming you charge 50 usd an apartment for the airbnb. That means you will recoup the investment in 20 years assuming daily occupancy. It is a bad investment

Are you familiar with the price of Nairobi real estate in the area the apartment is located? Plus the apartment I showed in this video had 4 tenants, is always booked for months at a time, and you think it’s a bad investment? I do wish I saw less expensive apartments so I can see what they go for, oh well next time.

Most of them go for about 170k USD which is actually fair pricing but hii ya 300k USD for that size of house I've not heard of them before
