Why does it take so long? I called because I wanted to perform and they told me, "Actually you'll be an extra on the following day, be ready to stay for 6 hours". What am I going to do for 6 hours? Just stand there for 6 hours?

There’s hair and makeup, rehearsal, and then the actual shoot which can take hours to get the right shot.

can being an extra help getting you to higher roles? i know you talked about how you have to be careful because if you get big you might ruin the plot but like can being an extra get you “recognized”?

so I’m 15 from NC and want to get into the film or theater world but don’t have an agent and don’t feel good enough quite yet to get one. Do you think extra work would be a good way to get on set experience or is it probably more harmful then helpful to an aspiring actor ?

i wouldn’t say i’m method but i do a few things to warm up i touched on it a little bit in my last video. i could definitely make a video talking abt what i do & the other options. when i’m on set & we’re actively filming i don’t talk to anyone & i usually blackout so i can totally understand when other actors can’t talk on set. ❤

I’m close to LA and the biggest thing that I’m always worried about is scams. Cause LA is so big and basically Hollywood and I feel like scams are more likely to happen here.
