I wish you guys update these track guides. They are still the best guides out there. But after i watched your Indianapolis guide i saw what's missing in your old lap guides. If you remake with those detailed explanations and illustrations you guys will nail it i think. Thank you for this guide again it's so helpful but you guys put the standards so high lately:)

Thanks for the guide, it was very helpful especially with the short shifts in T 1-2-3 with a little bit of adaptation i was able to get a 1:45 (p.s. brake and gas telemetry would have been helpful)

these are super helpful. It would be even more helpful if you could mention corner entry and exit speeds for each turn. I feel like I'm doing your line (mostly) but i'm not sure I'm carrying enough speed through the corner or maybe I'm not on the power soon enough. Best I could do is a 1.46.5 so far here.

Really glad they are helpful! Future guides (American track pack dlc) now have the inputs and speeds for that very reason, and future guides will too. Appreciate the feedback, best of luck with your racing 😊

Thanks for the video! I'm getting a little frustrated at this point. I put in over 100 laps over the last couple of days before seeing this video. My racing lines are on point with your suggestions. But I can't get below 1:46.1xx My starting point was 1:47,9xx and with some tuning and tracktime i got it down to 1:46. I don't understand where the other 3-4(!) seconds are gained...

I wouldn’t worry to much about the specific lap times given all of the variables. Bare in mind these were set over a year ago, the game has changed a bit since then. These are tough benchmarks! Jump in an online race at Barcelona and see where you stand, I’m sure it will be better than you think 😎

I am hitting pretty consistent 1:47-1:48 lap times in the M4. Even a (what I consider) perfect lap was mid/high 1:47's. I can't seem to find any time either although I am fairly new to the game. These videos definitely help. Keep up the good work @TraxionGG

@@JW-oz4cx I'm new to ACC (been playing barely a month as I just got my first racing wheel) but I have understood that BoP really matters even if you can't push cars to their limits... in Barcelona which is my track of choice to test different cars I was trying to use the BMW M4 and the Aston Martin Vantage V8 and I could never get under 1:47:500 no matter what... then I checked the BoP laptimes and which car has the best pace there and it's the Ferrari 488 Evo . So I decided to do a little experiment and I picked the Ferrari . As soon as I worked out a half decent setup I was easily hitting 1:47 consistently with most laps being 1:47:200 to 1:47:500 which was instantly faster than the other cars... within the day I managed to hit my PB of 1:46:800 And I'm fairly sure that I'm not some kind of Ferrari driving genius to be honest as I've driven this car for the grand total of 2 days... So yeah.... BoP matters even for us unfortunately... although think about this... if you have a 1 hour race in front of you and you decide to go with the Ferrari over the BMW or Aston then you're a mad man... unless you're very very VERY consistent you will 100% spin at least once or twice within the hour cause mid engine cars suck at taking kerbs... Overall if you can run 1:47:800 consistently in a very safe car is ultimately better than being able to hit 1:46 in a car you can't consistently control for a long period of time

Great time for a beginner! You have to remember, this was years ago now in ideal conditions on a qualifying run. And a hot lap designed simply to help you guys learn something about how to take each corner as quickly as possible. The game has changed since then too. Keep pushing! :)

Great lap, and thanks for the detailed guides in this series. I already "know" most of the tracks, but I'm finding your insights very helpful in shaving time off my laps. Gotta say though, I really do hate how this game is so liberal (and inconsistent) with track limits. The fact that you can be 100%, all 4 wheels outside of the white lines in certain areas but it's still ok as long as you keep 2 wheels on the curb...? But do the same thing on a different corner and it's an invalid lap? Feels bad, man. I mean, I guess they're trying to emulate how it might be judged in real-life series, but I don't know. I mean, F1 finally got it right this year in saying the white lines define the track, period. I don't know why all series can't do that.

This was made some time ago on a previous version of the game so the setup will be outdated and not usable anymore. Aggressive preset should still get you very similar results depending on the car you're doing it in.
