generally I'm a scilent watcher I don't intract in the comments, but I just want to express how much I appreciate your content man. like I have been watching your content for few months, and I'm defently much more motivatied in life then ever, I started having life goals and understand my priorities, my life has been changing so much the last couple of months, I also understood my value as a person. ngl I'm having happiness tears while writing this comment just remembering where I was couple of months ago. I genuinely hope the best for you man.

Shimon I say this from the bottom of my heart, you have made such a great impact to my everyday life. I’m going through a difficult time and currently struggling with depression and my mental health is not where I want it to be however, whenever you upload it genuinely makes me feel a sense of comfort because it feels like I’m talking to a friend. You’re helping not only myself but other people who are struggling with themselves and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us, thank you🙏❤️

I think the playlist idea is perfect. It would be interesting to see an almost crash course type playlist of ideas that correlate in some way and it would definitely help if someone were to think "dang, I need help with my relationship, but I don't know what specifically with" and lo and behold, you have an entire playlist of in-depth analyses of relationships. Love your content, it's been about half a year ago that I stumbled upon this channel and it has changed my life for the better. I'm now a better communicator, arguer, and I have more emotional intelligence now. I've learned to take things slow and focus on what's important in life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you've done.

i lacked so much of control with my own emotions. i was w someone who communicated with me about his feelings but when it came to my feelings, i bottle them up and explode. we had a few arguments here and there until he had enough. it was a very hard lesson to learn

So I've been off/"wounded" for a long time. It's something I've been aware of, but it's also something I've been struggling to work on because I don't know where it's stemming from. Because of this I'm always on the defensive side and I'm always having trouble with the habit of shutting people out every now and then. This has affected my relationship with my partners because it winds up being a scenario where I take a step to improve, but after some time i revert right back to how I was before I took that step. I don't know how to sustain my progress. A lot of things I don't think about and a lot of times it winds up hurting them, and I don't want that.. This video was helpful to me, and it's made me a little more aware of the people around me and how they function emotionally. I hope having a little more understanding can help me take a step to improving emotionally

The daily challenge of dealing effectively with emotions is critical to the human condition because our brains are hard-wired to give emotions the upper hand 😮
@stingrayplushies9 ай бұрын
I agree 100% that it's a partnership through-in-through and should be valued in that light. That being said, I do believe that both individuals should be okay with being told something's wrong or that something they're doing might negatively impact their partner and should be talked about. For example if one partner was a frequent spender, the other partner should be able to REASONABLY approach them and say "hey, I've noticed [negative thing] and would like to talk about it [present change.] The spender has to be able to internally go "I do spend a lot, I do need to work on that" without also being defensive. I guess it goes back to your original point, haha.

What I've really understood these past couple days was listening to someone. Not just jumping to find a solution, but to actually listen without judging and trying to build a painting rapidly. Let some time flow and understand the situation, and build up the picture slowly brick by brick

Thank you, man. I also have this thing I feel like I'm "emotionally unavailable"(not sure about this wording) with certain people. Like acquaintances for example. Recently I had a talk with a girl she opened up about some stuff in her life. She told me a couple of her problems and I just said some basic shit and that was it. IT wasn't that bad but it wasn't great!! And usually talking with close friends not acquaintances I have answers to questions. Usually we explore the problem together and most of the time come to some sort of solution that is great. Idk. Tell me what you think if you see this. And also I thought about adding "it really would mean a lot to me" at the end of this comment but again it's like I don't actually care if you respond or not because if I truly did and tried to do everything in my power to have you answer me I'd be disappointed or maybe even angry if you didn't respond. Of course a KZbin comment isn't a great analogy. But I have another one. Like for example you can be into someone and show affection and talk openly about your feelings and be natural with it. But you don't do that because you either don't know how or are scared of what may come of it. I don't want to think I'm scared and I kinda feel like I just don't know how to do that. I guess a solution for me would be to "go out there" and try to feel something for someone new. Because at least in romantic life, which I don't have, it seems that not showing affection doesn't really work. Idk. I get so nervous when someone shows feelings towards me. OKAY THAT'S just a big rant at this point. Thanks.

Im a sophomore in high school and i had to move schools in 8th grade but there was a girl who ive been friends with for a long time and i really have feeing for her and i told her that in person the only issue is that i live an hour and a half away. We went out on our first “date” last weekend and she got high when i was with her and i was ok with it but then at the end of the night she pulled me in and started to makeout with me, ive never done anything like that so of course it made me feel way more attracted to her and want her but i feel like she only did it because she wasnt sober and i dont know what to do about it
