@@ViolettaVie I look pretty feminine but I've always been told I have more "masculine personality traits" and I have since I was a kid. I am a 39-year-old stay at home father to a five-year-old little girl I found this channel because I recognize how profoundly confused our culture is becoming. I am hoping to learn how to instill a proper culture of femininity for my daughter. I respect her autonomy, and I accept that she may become anyone she chooses, but I feel it is my duty to provide a framework for her to grow into. I am genuinely searching for the right way to raise a little girl And I am open to any suggestions

Metoo Nunyabidness oh I see. Well I do hope you guys figure out the right plan for your family and it’s great that you are choosing to raise your child over giving them to a stranger for 10 hours a day. Hi, the fact that you are thinking about is a wonderful sign. For now, I would find a women in your life or community that loves her a lot and that your daughter naturally gravitates towards (don’t force her) and ask the women to invite her for tea or shopping or a bike ride. Keep this women in her life well into puberty. Expect that she is getting most of her pubescent questions answered by this women (and make this women promise she will keep everything your daughter says loyal and secret unless it is life threatening). Read the book Woman Code by Alisa Vitti now. When she is nine, get her a copy and put it on her bookshelf. Never push her into sports or STEM things she clearly doesn’t like. Encourage female friendships and sleepovers and convos with older women who can become aunties. Take her to dance theater and concerts and cultural things on the feminine side.

I used to be very controlling, dominating and impatient with other people. I wanted things to be my way. Know I've let go of controlling other people, and it feels much better for me and them - more loving, accepting and spacious. You can change your character
@naturalbodyandskincare99654 жыл бұрын
Living Free with Sophie Please understand that being dominant and controlling is not a masculine trait. As long as you do so femininely. To be a mother, you have to be assertive and controlling - but you do so in a firm but feminine way. Feminine assertiveness can actually be more effective than masculine assertiveness - as it is softer (rather than being blunt force like masculine assertiveness) and is also more hypnotic :))
@LivingfreewithSophie4 жыл бұрын
@@naturalbodyandskincare9965 the way I was before was not femininine, but masculine (and not even the good kind of masculine)🙈 I know women can be both firm and assertive in a soft and feminine way 😉 It's very powerful. Soft and unwavering

Please could you share the actual process of how you transformed your character. This is something I would love to do in my own life. What practical steps helped you to rid yourself of impatience, and being controlling
@LivingfreewithSophie4 жыл бұрын
@@hummingbird4335 I will definitely make a video about it :) Hmm, what indid was, that I first became aware of it, and then I started to practice catching my self when I was doing it (when I realized how I had actually behaved, I also feel remorseful). I got better and better at catching my self before I didn something controlling, so I could stop the action. Because, I actually don't like to be controlling and it came a bit from insecurity and lack of trust in everything/the universe. I started to understand how my controlling behavior felt to other people, which motivated me even more to change. I would remind my self that x-small detail wasn't worth criticizing other people for (eg. Let's walk faster, cut the onion this way, I think we should play my party game, etc) - criticizing other people this way had more of a negative effect than the "positive effect" of my behavior. Being more sympathetic helped me to change. Practically, If I was you, I would maybe start to practice these behaviors more in different areas of my lift - focus on one areas forst and then expand to a new one. Think of how you would act if you already had the characteristics you want to have -how would that version of yourself react. 💗 I hope this is helpful

Hi, I just wanted to say that your video on modesty was so helpful! In the past I’ve watched one or two and shunned the idea because they were actually quite damaging but you really put the idea of modesty as something elegant and mysterious, rather than a rule that imprisons a girl, into my mind! I love the idea of modesty in context and the idea that made it special was that the only people who have ‘earned’ the right to see my body are myself and my future husband because he’ll have committed to me for the rest of our lives. I think the word ‘earned’ was really important because no one has the right to see my body but a husbands commitment would make me want to allow him to see it (if that makes sense). Anyway, thank you for your videos xx

You're probably done (or almost done) with college right now as your comment is from 2 years ago. My honest advice to college girls is to focus on school (grades) and work experience. It's such a short time in college to be worried about too many things. If your jeans and tshirt are neat and ironed and you strive to be kind and polite in your interactions, that's more than enough for now. It's so easy to get carried away with what to wear, the latest makeup and beauty products, the men interested in you (or not), college parties and gossips...and time just rushes by. So always have your studies and relevant work experience (like internships, volunteering, etc) be your priority.

You can always improve yourself. Character is valuable. You’ve done an outstanding job of seeking continuous growth. I ask you to explore the power of the heart more. I cringed a bit when you said the heart is fickle and you can’t control it. It cannot be controlled consciously, your heart emanates your BEING, your STATE, it is who you are based on the structure you have established. It has been scientifically proven to be 100 times more powerful than the brain and emits wavelengths which actually tell your brain to perform a function to prepare for external stimulus. That is why your heart pumps quicker when in danger or fear, it recognizes energies that threaten your existence. It is very interesting to study and only multiplies your endeavors to develop character. Peace and light! My wife subscribed to you on my account and now I watch while commuting!

You have such a nice voice and I love your earrings! Of all the topics you've covered I tend to focus the most on character development. I think once our values and mental fortitude are set in place that it becomes the platform to base our life around. I love that you brought up laziness because that's a big one of mine as well. Being too complacent and accepting what I have. I get the sense it's a "when you know you know" kind of thing but I still have difficulty distinguishing when I should be more assertive and go after things, vs should I just be grateful for what I have already. I'm in a pretty good place in my life.... for a career kind of girl. Fortunately I've been focusing on character for the last few years and I'm now realizing my true priorities. At 25 I feel just a little behind but I also realize there are other women who haven't been able to reach any sort of stable point to start a family, or just start one because of other reasons which may not be the best for the child. 20/20 hindsight though. I'm really questioning this as I think about having kids sooner than later and how to set up my life to support a family which is now my main goal. Thank you so much for sharing! Love all of these videos and I vote yes to the live video.

I love watching your videos, but they also make me depressed at the same time because it just feels impossible for me to be a more feminine person. I dress and tend to have a very submissive appearance, but in reality I have a very dominant, non submissive personality. I don’t mind if my partner is masculine, but I prefer a more sexually submissive male. I just don’t find any pleasure being a bottom or sexually submissive. I’m already 23 and have had relationships where the relationship was great mentally but felt like a chore sexually to force myself to be in the more submissive role just to please my partner. This started to bring pain to me mentally and made the relationship fall apart. I’m still good friends with the guys from my last relationships, but I want something long-term with a stable future. I don’t really know what to do.

People come with a variety of personalities. I think femininity is an energy more than any specific act. Think of your sexual style as being more vivacious and expressive than dominant. There are plenty of men who would like prefer your style than lead. Consider the lap dance. Although culturally the woman is seen as submitting to a man if you think about it the man could be seen as submissive too by staying and receiving the woman's advances.
