There's a new dupe glitch. Select the item you want, open the menu to use it, and press "Use" and "Start" almost simultaneously, with "Use" being pressed slightly before "Start." If done correctly your stamina bar should have "use selected item" written on it. Then you open the item menu again, and use an estus flask. It'll consume an estus flash but act as if you consumed the original item, leaving it in your inventory.

by the way for anyone wondering, the infinite item uses glitch can.. A) Be used on any item that has a confirmation window. So boss souls, Fire Keeper Souls, Homeward Bones B) Be used my performing any action that stalls the window from opening. Such as pressing the Use Item button while you are in the middle of a roll (which prevents the menu) and pressing start of open the menu (which prevents the menu from opening) which allows you to choose i different item to use up instead. C) if i recall correctly, which i may not be, on female characters you might have to 2 hand your weapon for it to work, but it might have been a situational thing at the time. D) the animation of using an item such as popping a boss soul and kneeling to use a fire keeper souls will also stall the menu, allowing you to just keep pressing Square or X when you are about halfway done with the animation and opening the inventory again. E) Their are many things that interrupt the menu, if you ever watched Lobos Jr, you might have seen him doing it by rolling, hitting a wall and letting his weapon rebound, or just swinging a weapon at thin air. It all depends on how fast you can input the buttons, which luckily is not very hard. F) You can use any item in the item you original selected's place, but in general i use Estus because you can keep doing it even after your estus count reaches 0, and their isnt any risk of accidentally using the Darksign (the other best one to use) by mistake and losing all your souls/humanity. G) Also, it DOES NOT work with invading items like Cracked Orbs. Sence those items are removed when their effects actual activate, not when you perform the action with them. Edit: H) Also you dint have to mash any of the buttons (and if you are making a pvp build and dont want carpal tunnel you really shouldnt), as you do it more you will notice for each animation you stall the menu with, their is a certain point at with it will store your input, before which it will simply ignore it, similar to how in order to attack out of a animation you have to press the attack button in the latter end of it. So for boss souls, you can just press the use button once immediately after you squeeze the soul, kneeling items just press as soon as you begin to stand, etc. Rolling typically i press the button the moment my characters body impacts the ground in the rolling animation. Its not very hard to figure out, should only take a minute or 2 of almost accidentally using your items before you get it down.
