If you check the rules of UAE regarding starting a business, then those rules are in favour of the government as well as investors. There is no prerequisite to start business in the UAE. What I like about the UAE compared to KSA is that there's only 5% VAT, compared to 15% VAT in KSA. Also, there's no dependent fee in the UAE, which is there in Saudi Arabia. It is $106 per person per month, and that too without any benefits. Mainly, it is one of the reasons why Mr. Abdul's family is still in Pakistan. Now, presently, I personally think Canada is the place to immigrate to. It offers good quality of education and life, as well as easier acquisition of citizenship compared to other countries.

Assalamualaikum... English is my second language so please do pardon me if I translate anything wrongly....He said if you wanna link your company with the one you want to open in Saudi you need an investment license...the fees for first year is 12k and then you will have to pay 62k for the rest years APART from that you will have to pay 20% of the profit you have made from the company to the government...after getting the investment license you have to make the article of your company and then you will get CR( Commercial Registration) it means your company is finally made( sorry my background is science so I am just literally translating whatever he is saying) After all this if you are in Saudi then you will have to transfer your iqamah( I looked it up and it means legal papers which justify your stay in the country) to the company as an employee of your company which will facilitate in running your company and with the ownership....You MUST have 1 Saudi working in your company from the very beginning so that iqamah can be transferred easily to your company...he is saying if you are genuine then only you go for Saudi...check the market for whatever field you are interested in...you must have experience of that field... For the service based license you can go for restaurants, car wash, workshops and other jobs which provides services....but with service based license you can't open grocery shop because it comes under trading... There are two links in the description one is for the website of business And the other is ministery of commerce, you can look them up for further details

As simple as that. I spent more than 40years in GCC. A true experience if you are a big shot and you have good connections than you are successful every where. You can do business or what ever. But if you are not establish yet and you want to start any business in gcc be care ful because when ever you will start growing the native will take over and than you have two choices either go to jail or go back to your country. So dont be stupid and get fool by big building and cars.

May Allah make things easy for you. May Allah aid and guide the rulers of Saudi Arabia and Muslim rulers else where. You need to understand how Saudis (NOT ALL) are same just like people from other countries who desire money and power. They will try hard to use the system to their benefit and as a foreigner its definitely not easy for you to put your case. This is changing and In Shaa Allah will get better. Rulers can't do much in these cases just yet but they are trying hard.
