I've always worn patchouli. People either love it or hate it. Just recently a friend approached me saying he could tell I'd just been on the same bus as him cuz he could smell lingering patchouli. I've learned it only takes a small dab. I know it's not for everyone but I love it's earthy aroma...and yes kindness & compassion go a long way when others are in bad space. With technology, you are always available. If I'm running, and I get a text alert on my watch, I'll stop and respond to the text because that is the courteous thing to do.
