Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher, cultural critic, composer, poet, and philologist who is widely known for his unconventional ideas about morality and religion. He was one of the main precursors of existentialism and although his ideas were controversial among the traditional thinkers, he showed people the true nature of life and how individuals can shape their future with independent thought. According to Nietzsche, to be successful means to live life to the fullest, following your own mission in life and your own values. His teachings have shaped the lives of many people; from psychologists to poets, dancers to several successful modern day entrepreneurs.
So with that in mind, here are 5 lessons from Friedrich Nietzsche which we can adopt in our lives in order to be successful -
01. Don’t follow the herd
02. Embrace your inner Dionysus
03. Find a father
04. Have a clear vision for the future
05. Get Stronger
I hope you enjoyed watching these ways to be successful from the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche and find them helpful in your life.
Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher, poet, essayist, and cultural critic. He is considered to be one of the most daring and greatest thinkers of all time. His writings on truth, morality, language, aesthetics, cultural theory, history, nihilism, power, consciousness, and the meaning of existence have exerted an enormous influence on Western philosophy and intellectual history. He was one of the biggest precursors of existentialism, which emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent, determining their own development through acts of will. By his famous words “God is dead!”, Nietzsche moved the focus of philosophy from metaphysics to the material world and to the individual as a responsible person for his own life. Friedrich Nietzsche wrote several books like The Birth of a Tragedy, Human, All Too Human, The Dawn, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Beyond Good and Evil, Twilight of the Idols, The Will to Power, The Antichrist, and many more. His teachings have shaped the lives of many people; from psychologists to poets, dancers to social revolutionaries.

Loved the enthusiastic presentation of the material, but it gradually drifted into a corporate search for excellence, and I began having a flashback to being the grey suited corporate man, which I no longer am. I was there, in those multinational corporations, and underwent all kinds of training programs designed by human resources departments. They would love this, even though they are in the business of manufacturing the herd. The video ends as an actual commcerial for a service for $4 a month with a two year contract. For a moment I became paranoid about my google browsing history and thought about it. Nietzsche had made a convincing case and loosened up my purse strings. Luckily, the idea didn't last long and I got a laugh out of it.

I do agree with you to an extent. Having said this, while Nietzsche believed in "Uber Mansch", did he actually become one, specially in physical and emotional manifestation? His final years were spent as a gravely ill, lonely and bitter man. His mind and discipline was stronger than it had ever been- as demonstrated by the sheer volume of work he managed to produce even when he was ill. My point is-- in our day and age and in an urban setting, where men and women are obliged to fulfil a wide range of responsibilities, and market and money are unaviodable realities, the application of philosophy when extended to career and financial success and prosperity isn't something to be lamented upon. I found his video to be very helpful and poignant in a way. Of course philosophy should serve a greater purpose no doubt, but one cannot deny the influence of the markets and finance in our day-to-day lives.

This is exactly how I feel and sometimes I think maybe there is something wrong with me but most genius of the history felt the same if you are of high level intelligence that you can’t relate to people it’s not your fault it’s their fault not be able to synchronize their brain frequencies with yours the only problem is in order to succeed you have to be able to deal with ordinary people and higher number of population includes them this is the most difficult challenge to a person of high intelligent because it is like they don’t speak and understand your language dealing with people is the most difficult challenge for high level intelligence people it’s very difficult consumes all the energy I wish a world completely independent from others so that you don’t have to deal with people unless you like to but not an obligation that is why many intelligent people come to the point that this world is not built for me and become depressed and kill themselves because it’s like you drive a porsche but have to go with the speed of a random car and follow the rules that are predesigned you can only drive with a certain speed so what is the difference between a porsche and a random car you get depressed but unfortunately this is how the world is built opposite to What he said be out of box don’t follow society I agree but in order to get a job you have to get a job from the herd in order to make a family you have to find a person from the herd so you can’t be totally disconnected it doesn’t work I wish it works but it doesn’t and intelligent people understand it very soon and they can’t change it so they get stuck and depressed there is a way to escape from people and stay isolated and create a world for your own taste and speed but the problem is this works just for a while but in order to live one has to live in this world the other worlds are just ones illusion and not real but it’s just a release once you get exhausted of this existing world

I think it would be better in the long term for us to think about these questions first, and then ask “how to become successful?”. 1) what do we mean by success, and is it the same for everyone? 2) why become successful? 3) is it worth it achieving it? 4) is it worth the sacrifice? 5) ...

Have a clear vision of the Future. The Future implements the present as much as the past. The Will of Power which also means the will to live, is one central concept in Nietzche' s philosophy. is directed towards the future. Will is by definition directed towards the future.Future. This Vision of the future shapes ones present Reality as well as memories of the Past. The Will of Power is what gives us our Reality. It makes us who we are. The way you see your future has a big influence on how well you enjoy life and how confident you can be in achieving your goals. If you know where you are going and have a strong vision of the furure, then you will also tend to remember the key moments from your future that are particularly relevant to that future.

I love these videos about Nietzsche, but there's one thing I'm confused about... Why couldn't Nietzsche overcome the traumatic event after the horse being beaten to death? His own advises or at least the other philosophers ones, is supposed to do this. This gives a strange message: "philosophy cannot help you after a traumatic event".

We will and can trully evolve and use our herd potential. To apply herd mentality u need trully have herd mentality, not only taking use of the benefits of the herd...to enhance yourself. Success is measured by the outcome. An atheists outcome comes to nought, we know that. A Christians outcome you must check. Did mind come first or matter? This is the defining question! Did all the laws and constants of nature and the cosmos arrive by accident? Those who propose to be inteligent and free thinkers believe it is an accident. Why do inteligent people believe they are an accident?

Audio books are not good for the environment, you have to store data and all the resources that go into it is now just as bad for the environment as the aviation industry.
