To anyone who is struggling with this battle: Use Happy Gel just before the fight so that you achieve easier combos and aim strictly for the tail (I did this using Alphen and it worked pretty well. Better than either Shionne and Rinwell, which was super surprising). The tail is only weak part of its body that constantly stays close to the ground, so it shouldn't be very hard to hit it. Also, be sure to grind a bit and be at AT LEAST level 30. That one seems obvious, but you would be surprised how many people are trying to do this at level 26 or 27. Also, be sure to manually heal and use Peach and Lemon Gels whenever you can. Don't rely on just the auto healing, since it doesn't seem to work very well in the bigger fights.

Unfortunately I don’t have any healing items except 5 life bottles and should I use gravitas shot with shionne or should I use alphen

It took me an hour of dodging and dodging more to just kill the dragon and rinwell would never target the lady

This fight is weird as fuck to me, I can't lock on to the bitch but I'm supposed to absorb her spell, the first charge up with her dragon is a millisecond that you have to press "up" on and there is no other one after that wtf was they smoking making her?

Surprisingly Beat on my first try as Rinwell. Spent about half the time dodging and casting water and wind when ever there was an opening. Spent the last 5 minutes of the fight repeatedly dodging her mystic arte while all my allies remained dead. Cast spells while the mystic arte was charging.

If only Bayonetta was in this game, I dodged so much, the entire fight would be in Witch Time.

I hate this boss fight. First Lord fight I felt like wasn't even enjoyable. Just makes the fight super cheap and unfair by making it a flying enemy that spends 99% of the time in the air

Yeah idk what they was smoking making this

It’s not “cheap and unfair” it’s just difficult but doable with a good strategy bro

Heres my strat: Step 1: Beat Dohalim's Intermediate arena to gain access to the wild abandon artifact ability. Step 2:Beat the final boss. Step 3: Do the Otherworld Post game subquest to gain the Devil's Arms weapons. Specifically you'll need to Beat the level 95 bonus boss Kronos to get the Nebilim Sword. Upon acquisition, it should have an attack value of around 800+ Step 4: Collect all the owls to unlock the ability to transfer Items, equipment, artes, and records into new game plus. Step 5: Nebilim's Attack and Elemental Attack increase by 1 for every enemy Alphen kills, regardless of whether or not it is equipped. So go around one-shotting low level enemies until the devil sword's attack reaches what you feel to be a sufficiently massive level of overkill. Step 6: Begin a new game+ playthrough and transfer weapons, armor, artes, records, and should you so desire, level. Step 7: Activate Reckless Abandon to increase all damage you deal by 100 percent. Step 8: Equip alphen with the Nebilim and Endgame armor. Step 9: Speedrun your way to Almeidria. Step 10: K I L L

Sucks some of my guys do not have those powers to use. My whole group goes down at same time when he is around 55k would that be God's Breath doing that? And are you using Shionne?

How do you change your formation permanently to where I don't have alphen, shion, law, and rinwel. If I change them out mid battle they don't stay the same. Next battle and idk where to go to change perm formation
