The big problem with this boss is that he has 2 different attacks that look identical when they’re telegraphed. The back hand swing and his devastating grab attack

thanks for the tips, finally managed to get him after getting frustrated. the grab attack was making me so paranoid, i made sure my hp was constantly over 60% (thankfully i had upgraded heals to 8 or 9) instead of using the flame arm (can’t make it work for me), i use the falcon eye with couple upgrades (extra shot + shoot while dodging), it helps to take out the small guys if you’re out of throwables + extra dmg on the boss from afar.

​@patriciagousset2884 Try Bloodborne instead. It's easier than lies of p. Still challenging, but you don't deal with the shortcomings of infant developers and their screw ups. Even if you're bad at Bloodborne all you have to do is make it to the Blood Starved Beast which is like the 3rd or 4th boss. It's a hard fight but you can use a summon. Once you beat him you are given a chalice that can help you farm unlimited points for leveling up.

Thanks for the video! Here's how it worked for me: started out by adding fire damage to my weapon with the grindstone. First attack was using the full fable gauge. Then I basically made sure to stay as close as possible to the boss. Kept pushing hard left on the stick and holding the legion arm fire attack until it ran out. Then continued sticking close and using regular attacks whenever it was safe. Still, a real bad fight that simply wasn't fun.

If you want a slow and steady method a good strat is to just block his body slam. It’s easy and every time you can get four or five hits in.

Was able to beat him first try with the wrench + baton applied with flame grindstone using their fable arts and it brought his health to more than half instantly. Then I just proceeded to do heavy attacks along with the max level puppet string's attack links! :D

I hated this fight. The attack patterns were actually rewarding to learn to counter, but the constant Decay was very frustrating. Other than the constant decay, the grab attack was especially nasty. For me, it was hard to differentiate it from other attacks, and always tried to perfect block it. Had a few tries where I still had a lot of pulse charges, and weapon durability with well over 50% health, and the grab one-shotted me. Even if it didn't one shot me completely the decay finished the job :(

Okay so guys and gals heres a tip for the usual throwable cheese. If you cheese the previous boss and DONT GO FORWARD instead go back to the previous stargazer you can still fast travel and that boss doesn’t respawn. So go back to Malum District and fill yourself and your storage up as much as you feel comfortable. I also recommend using the falcon arm upgraded to the second level. Doing all this let me do this boss in one try with 5 pulse cells. Also another thing I noticed if you leave his summon be he doesnt summon more. I had one guy up for 90% of the fight and a second one spawned only after I accidentally killed the first. Hope this helps everyone pushing for the final stretch!

All I can write / say (Post nerfed bosses) is, "Easy, easier, live puppet's axe". To be exact, combine the blade of the live puppet's axe with the handle of the pistol rock drill. Weapon upgrade is +8, and use the elemental fire stone. Have 4 fable slots available if doable via P-Organ upgrade. I downrighted melted half or more or the health bar away with a single ! fable art attack (Shift + F on PC keyboard) that uses all fable bars and beat this guy without pulse cells used, you basically hit the enemy with superfast / high frequency horizontal hits. Never accomplished this before. 🤩

Great video and tips as always :) I would like to add a couple of things, if anyone is still having trouble: 1. You can use Falcon Eyes on the creatures that Corrupted Parade Master spawns. Right as the creature spawns, lock onto it and fire one shot. 2. When CPM starts belly flopping (or doing the Worm, if you're old school), the "flops" are easy to time and you can perfect parry each one to make him staggered. Then when he is staggered, do a heavy attack, followed by a Fatal Attack. Good lies!

I must admit to getting exhaused by the nature of these boss fights. Stuck in a corner, large boss which makes fighting the camera an issue, blocked off progress, so merchants are not available for this one. And of course on the xbox version, these enemies seem to go into Agro mode all the time. Its just annoying.

If you got no throwables, use the Salamander blade with any attachments as fire does well against this guy. I'm stuck with no throwables & nothing to remove decay but having only just encountered him Salamander + a long handled weapon did well

One of the worst bosses I’ve fought imo. Ik they are trying to take the 2 gundyr fights approach from dark souls3, but slapping in some decay-infused moves, 1-2 new follow-up attacks and adding enemies does not change much on how you approach this fight.

I just beat this boss after attempt number 3. I’m not sure how I feel about the restrictions. It’s exciting and forces you to really learn the bosses moved but seems also quite unfair and I’m sure a lot of people got really stuck here cause they’d gotten used to playing a certain way. Also I found myself inbetween fights having to grind for legions which was a real drag.

His jump is one shotting you, decay will eat your hp and if you try to use potion (if you have one, lol) boss will hit you once or twice cause animation of consuming slow you down. Let me give you some tips on what i did to beat this guy, i was at the walking illusion boss fight i save my data from there with all my throwable i defeteated her and i didn't went straight to the next boss i save my data again once i beat her, after that i went to farm ergo once i had around 35k i went for grossery i bought all the throwable after that i went to the boss, if you fail to beat him just download your older save where you had all your throwable and try again, just avoid doing it many times follow the tip from the video once you reach at least half or lower hp of the boss start throwing everything like gideon

Yea i tried to beat this part for days. With no warning i had no supplies. So I ended up returning the game. Pre-ordered Lords.

Just beat this boss with the aid of this vids😅, thanks Share my tackle here. I firstly grinded my weapon with fire grindstone and gave damage to the boss as much as possible (better set him fire😅 everything is luck, but low cost) utill I got serious hit. (Coz at the first half of boss hp, less chance of biological attack.) Right after the first round of attack , shot him with falcon eye to "confirm"the damage to him (dunno why after hitting the boss, the shading hp of boss will remove). And then the careful way as the vid show, just hit right after the bodyslam. For the minion, lure them to stick with the boss, and hit them with the boss together. I’m such a dumbass. I forgot to use my fully upgrade puppet string legion arm and HOLY. The first time I used it in the fight, I beat him. Your advice to bait him for that running attack helped a lot too man. Thanks dude.
