I put a bore kit intake exhaust, tune, light eliminator, lightened pegs and tires and rims, and aftermarket seat and my 125 gets up to speed really fast, and is a ton a fun now

Are there any limitations because of the bore kit? How much cc is it now and what speed difference did your mods get you

basicly lean forward as much as you can when seating then lightly dump clutch at 6-7k rpm.

For Many years, the maximum cc rating for a learner in New Zealand was 250cc. that got changed because some 250's were getting too fast, and there were larger bikes that were slower than 250's, so it became a power to weight ratio thing. and then a Maximum power output with a limit 47hp, and a Max of 660cc. I personally don't know about the 660cc thing, but there are so many cool bikes like the restricted version of the SV650, that a Learner could get, and then have the restrictor removed & have the full power Later on... and I'm sure some people do that, and I'm sure many of them regret that decision after dropping it on their leg. & wish they went for a lighter bike that they could trade in when they are ready, rather than thinking they'll save money and only buy once (and then fork out for repairs and the de-restriction and retune) But forget the cc Rating, the registration and insurance costs are more important, and for 250cc and under it's cheaper than everything except a Moped. Buying a first bike bigger than 250cc is not worth it on the wallet, The bigger and more expensive the bike, the more you will loose when you trade it in on the second bike, Guaranteed!

I'm hopefully moving to a bike from a scoot. As a trainer in my trade, you know how to explain things. New sub. 🤙

So I'm a new biker on a 125cc lexmoto lxr. And can't stand the thought of filtering. Does it bother people if a bike is sitting behind cars and not going in between them to get to the front??

I've got a KTM RC 390 cc Racing Bike !!! It's the same weight as the 125 but has 3 times the Power. I have to lean over the Front of the Bike So the Front Wheel is about a Foot above the Ground !!! It goes like Hell and does about 104 mph top speed. It gets to 30 mph in about 2 Seconds !!! Nothing can catch it !!! It revs to 13,500 rpm and has a Slipper clutch. I've never taken it above 6,000 rpm !!!

now show us how to launch quickly on a 1400cc bike or a supercharged 1000cc! Sub 2 seconds!

You're not doing sub 2 seconds even on a prepped strip on a stock ZZR or H2. Let alone on the road.

@@checkyourself164 Agreed! For the record I think the ZZR is much easier to race/control. Its as long as a bus!

makes you miss the old 2007 RS125, amazing 2stroke beast. They stopped doing 250cc on "learners" cause everyone was getting themselves killed

Worst bit about the UK system is the 125 limit until 19
