The first Fatalis guide that is detailed and funny, that cut to the anime is hilarious. The only thing I would add is smoke bomb, that item makes Fatalis stop in its track for a few seconds every time, imo that is a must bring item. Other than that, really good video man

Cannon opener if youre a beginner but it makes it harder to topple fatalis once you do the cannon opener making the roaming ballistae topple harder to do. Reserve the topple for 2nd phase when everyone abilities are all set and fatalis is enraged.

Smoke bombs are op. If you are being targeted, after fatty misses it’s attack ON YOU, pop a smoke and wait for it’s search animation and then go in for an attack while your map circle is red, not purple. This works well when it’s in the air so it stops him from staying airborne too long.

Also this situation unless you play Coop, or you bring heavy artillery, its not going to happen. My tips its that exploit every opening to go for his head, and try to bait fire cones in the first and second phase to break his head. With heavy artillery try to down him. If with roaming ballista you cant bring him down, try with the regular ballista Next. With a few shots he will stagger and get down. Good luck fella 🗿🚬

Actually, you can do cannon opener with one hunter only as well, like in the video he went back to camp to change loadout after Fatty is down after the cannon fire. The roaming ballista and normal ballista and a few shot of cannon balls are for the second down. I see in the video 3 times (including Dragonator) Fatty went down in total

1.Pls,do not use cannon opener in multi SOS(unless you want ur teammates all die in corner&wasting time) use Roaming ballista instead. 2.Don't bait fatalis to dragonator if he's too far.Just wait for the nova and fatalis will reset his position in middle then use the dragonator. 3.Please do not use ZSD on fatalis if you don't have health regen,and most importantly don't AFK.Happy Hunting guys!

2 and 3 are great points. I only disagree with 1 because Cannon opener is for phase 1 beginning while roaming ballista can only be used at the beginning of phase 2 though. For Cannon opener multiplayer, only the Artillery Officer should go down first, once he finishes setting up, signaling others to come down. That’s what I always do

Cannons are a total noob trap, especially in SoS. Please never use cannons. Only siege that should be used is roaming ballista starting phase 2. Also don't use dragon pods. Idk why noobs seem to constantly throw these things.

So the general rule is to solo him first before you go to farm him with SOS right? Dammit my ass almost gone from how hard it's getting kicked

Not necessary. Except for the special assignment where you have to fight him solo until phase 2 starts the first time. Otherwise, You can go in solo with ghillie mantle to check out the artillery first or look for a session with veteran hunters who would go in and help with Fatalis. The cannons strategy would help make the hunt easier but it is only mandatory back when Fatalis just arrived

For the new Hunters I recommend NOT to do the cannons. Because you reach faster to the second fase and will not have the time to learn Fatalis moves and do enough damage to the head. It is better in fase one to concentrate all your attacks to the head. In fase two the ballista and so on
