Thank you Beasty!, just played a game against English who tried to longbow rush me with ram and maa. He saw my towers and ran. he came back with more ram but i held tight. rushed castle! went burger palace and just pumped maa and ran him down! keep up the guides my friend. much appreciated.

Hey Beasty. Not sure you will actually read this, but I was the guy in the chat in the beginning talking about the winrate of your opponent being 12-0. It's edited out of the guide for the most part, but you timed me out for 24 hours for simply stating that was the case (TheRealMrMunch chat message @ 1:01). I only mention it, because I'm a big fan, and you misinterpreted my message entirely. You took it as an attack on your guides, claiming I was malding that you weren't playing quality opponents, when that wasn't the intention of my message at all. I was just stating that while a 12-0 win rate looks impressive, if you start with a fresh account, your first 8-10 games you're playing like bronze/silver players. It felt a bit bad watching you take my message so negatively, and I never had the chance to clarify at all. Love your content dude...keep it up. I'll try to be more thoughtful with how I phrase things next time.

14:00 also tower is relatively immortal compared to units, especially with emergency repairs edit: for lower leagus, if there's a lot of aggresion earlier, then it's probably dark age spear rush or feudal archer, which will be both countered by tower, so 2 well placed towers in front of resources will get job done, you'll most probably be able to get to caste before enemy can get to heavy units that don't care about towers

I'm a french main in Platin 1 and I think hre is a tough match-up. The only way I get them is by attacking simultaneously from several sides with knights and hoping they can't handle it.

thanks Bro, can you do a army comp guide?, and how to close game? i'm bronze and games go to 1h easy, because opp dont tapout, in feudal i understand go Ram, but castle and up, i see keep and trebuchet, but i dont know how to use the rest of the siege machines. thanks in advance Bro.

it's simple, counter what your opponent is using. Example: opponent is English making longbows counter it by making mangonels, opponent is making maa transition to crossbow, opponent spams tower/keeps make treb/bombard. Obviously it's not that simple since your opponent can also transition to different units but for bronze this should work. (also some civs that has a strong unique units like french with royal knights and their unique crossbows that I'm not gonna try to spell even if your opponet makes spears you still want to make them)

I am Japanese main, and I have a terrible time with early harass, English/French/JD/Abbasid, whats the best way for Japan to Fast ccastle while under lots of pressure. I dont mean 4-5 knights here and there I mean when they spam units fuedal, because Japan is ass Fuedal.

Siege engineering early on is useless. I would go iron undermesh so I can do hit and run tactics on protected resources. Combine iron under mesh with hit and run tactics while using chivalry to heal up injured knights is very effective. Much more so then siege engineering pfft. I don’t understand why he would run his knight in to deny your age 3 land mark up either loosing knights is such a L as the French being so reckless with that one is crazy.

It could, but you need more vills in one spot to make the same effect as a relic tower, which could be fine. Overall good defensive play seems key to AOE4

i tried that with delhi to try a fast castle (experiencing for science !) I know i'm trash, still i was wondering i'm protected, now what ? my enemy still is stacking archer/knight, still got map control, still is stacking making a ram, still is making more villager than me in the long run.

I have zero experience with Delhi, but the key with that for the hre was the Burgrave if the enemy was being aggressive. It always you too meet aggression really quickly without diverting economy towards more production.

If opponent goes 2TC you can play greedier with cathedral, a few units, get relics, save for imp

As a diamond HRE, this build is perfect, i prefer cathedral but anyway... i have more trouble against english rush :/

it depends on the strategy. Correct me if i am wrong but the idea of Burgrave is to counter the agression of french and getting out of the base and get map control to get the relics. Otherwise it can be hard to pick up the relics cuz french is going to try to deny it, using the troops built on feudal while catching up to castle. With the capability of spamming units of burgrave you should not have any issues to get the french guy back to hgis base depending how much resources spent onm troops in feudal age.

Maybe i'm gonna give it a try this build soon. But like i said, i have trouble against english rush, you know... because of that great range that their archers have. They can denie me resources easily
