I think you should cover Chaos next. Also another useful way to stop Overwhelm is to keep a standing rear guard behind the VG. That should limit Overwhelm's Dark Device as long as they don't have a Rosenberg or Bolg Wasp.

Does dominate have any problem with this? Because our only big problem is the counter blast thing but we have Torasada and Tengai for that. If any thing else goes wrong, is Dominate a good counter because we don't care that much about our RGs? Also love your videos keep it up!

another tip is that you can keep a unit behind the V to stop overwhelm's dark device ability. they could rest it with the starter but if there is no more starter, they have to force rest it with alicides or bolg wasp which they dont play much of.

So with overwhelm is assume it's better to let them have the crit and drive than letting them plus 2 or more, assuming that you can defend against overwhelm

Hey solemn, as a Nubatama player, I have been struggling against Aqua force players and their g guards.... You see, each time I 'Mukuro' or Mujinlord, The resist-giving g guard appears... Which then makes the rear guards practically untouchable. Please send help.

Another trick you forgot to mention about Overwhelms GB3, Its Dark Device on the vanguard, SO if you stand your starter or the unit behind your vanguard via effect or stand trigger or leave it standing she cant use her GB3 and all her units loose than 2k Boost cust Dark Device requires ALL units in the same columb as yours to be REST, key word "ALL" it was a fun little trick I learned while using stand triggers.

As long as you stand a unit in the same columb as the unit that has that Dark Device yes.

That's why Gredora decks play Bolg Wasp, but yes this is a good idea. You don't even need to rely on stand triggers, just throw a unit behind your VG and let it sit there all game.

hey solemn vanguard i am wondering how to beat an ichikishima deck he's running in a tsukuyomi deck one advantage miko nanase her skill to add power 1000 for ever hand is quite devastating and combine it with nazuna for that turn get power 2000 for every hand its null or die and my friend can get ichikishima on first stride that g guard bavarois can add up hand he stride with haruzuki get a hand the hand size its frightening combine it with nanase and nazuna combo it is goodbye, then if my nullifies has gone or not in hand he will stride with gb8 amaterasu and well good game, he uses this strategy every game drop nulls in ichiki turn and a game with gb8 i am currently has nubatama deck and overlord but without the purge(i will buy it in chinese new year for budget) and i am using ziegenburg as a finisher please reply, thank you

theo doric as a tsukuyomi player, if you can, rush the hell out of the early game. As much replenishment as ott has, the nastiest skills still require oracle, so guarding is not always affordable, and it keeps them from hitting the prepared stack. It also goes without saying, snipe nanase when you can, no problem for kagero. In fact, hitting rear guards in general forces use of resources that could otherwise be used for oracle abilities.

theo doric also, simply forcing them to make the first stride can make a huge difference. Tsukuyomi only works if they have the cost for aoul, and other likely first strides like ame no segume or maybe dragon destroyer deity are only good on hit.

A really fun combo to play against obtiranus is on thier turn rain breath call sylvia which then called from top deck onto field. Also u can rain breath into alain to counter charge 2 to deny 4k damage. Edit: musketeer deck

Abdul Tarabein you do know obtirandus says until the end of your opponents turn right? So not even during your opponents turn can you call cards.

It does work if you wait a turn. The skill only lasts until you end your turn, so when he strides Overwhelm you can already call units.

We still need the skill from Zanki and if they Paralyze our vanguard, unless you have two grade 3s in your hand, you are toast. Plus the column thing will really hurt since Zanki asks you to Superior Call. And one more thing, COUNTER BLASTS. ALMOST EVERY NUBATAMA STRIDE, except Mukuro uses COUNTER BLASTS! Well not to hate but to remind. Good day mate.

Xavier Chrome how so? When Victor strides first their rgs mostly won't be locked and overlords mostly will have access to only denial and not defeat flare. However even denial becomes useless because of the new g1 unit which can give all rgs resist. So i think the support is great and perhaps a bit too much for Victor. I would love more support for kagero mainly Kouen as they crumble against resist.

All of this seems like good advice. There are also a few awkward ways to get around Gredora, such as playing Deletors to at the very least nullify the damage theft ability, and you would also require them to re-ride in order to seal off a column. Moreover, unless there's some bizarre ruling I'm unaware, of, all of the new Messiah support allows that deck to call cards to the board even under Obtirandus and even to columns sealed by Gredora - Ideal Ego Messiah, Myga Messiah, and other similar grade 2 units (Photosphere is the name of the one in the link joker set, I believe, and I don't recall the name but there's one that allows you to place a card from your hand to the field as locked to draw a card in star gate) all bypass this call sealing due to wording, as they place a card on the field locked rather than calling a card, before locking it. Also, I feel that, if at all possible when facing down a likely Overwhelm turn (In other words, particularly when your opponent is going into their first stride), it's wise to have exactly two rested rear-guards on the field; this Megacolony deck plays 6-8 cards that can rest your units, but playing in this way requires that they actually have access to one of them at the time. When Overwhelm reads, "Counter-blast one, flip a card in the g-zone, draw two" then it's not quite so oppressive. At that point, it's a moderately improved Take-Mikazuchi and little more.

Shadowshyamin when they stride into obtirandus you will most likely have 3-4 turns of no calls. I play ahsha , and it also messes up my bloom but knowing he's in the gzone I rushed him and luckily filled my hand enough to guard the three turns of him striding it. Like solemn said it's about who plays their resources smarter.

Because one of Gredora's skill prevents using column it really hurts BT that's strong point these days is being able to bounce own units and call them during attack hurting already under supported clan even more and making me hate that card even more. Also being able to take resources away is something that can really hurt decks that need those resources making Gredora nightmare to face and one card that's IMO too good for clan like Megacolony.
