People will complain about a budget video not promoting organic. I don’t get the luxury of buying organic all the time. Sometimes (but very rarely) I luck out a d can get some organic frozen berries for my son. But most of the time I’m working on $75-$100 a week for groceries for my family of 3. And our “luxury” is we eat whole foods or minimally processed (sometimes processed depending on budget but we try hard not to) foods. So we can’t really eat organic on top. I appreciate this video. People will complain about organic but let’s be honest, you promote it 98% of the time. One video that’s budget friendly won’t kill people and will actually be beneficial for those who are working with a budget but want to learn how to eat healthier!

Organic produce is relatively cheap to grow. If planting a garden is something you may be interested in, go on some seed sites and do price comparisons to see if it'd be viable for you to just plant an organic garden vs buying from the store. Things like strawberries and blueberries are super cheap to grow.

Others have mentioned buying bulk at Costco, I second that emotion along with Smoky Robinson, and I highly recommend a vacuum sealer. I've kept vacuum sealed cheese for over a year, and it's been perfectly fine! In fact, I bought two, 2.5lb packages of mild cheddar at Costco for $4.99 each (on sale, couldn't pass up) then separated them into vacuum sealed packages of about 10 slices each. It lasted us for months and months.

I've been doing alright spending about $350 for three people a month by buying in bulk, if the price makes sense, from Costco and rationing that into actually healthy portions for my family, then freezing what we aren't immediately eating. Over the course of the last few months, it's actually worked and allowed us to have wider food options. It's also helped me SERIOUSLY cut down on food waste

My husband left a lucrative job many years ago to follow is passion to teach. As his salary dropped significantly, I actually spoke to the butcher at my grocery store to find out when he marks the meat down. It turned out to be very early in the morning, one day a week. So, I would drop my kids off and head straight to the store on that day! I used to go home and cook it all to be on the safe side....but then I had lots of frozen meals to feed the family!!

you do get free shipping if you reach $45 dollar I believe.. they price match and if you dont spend the more than your membership fee (if the membership is 50 and you only spend 20 they send they 30 back to you). I dont use it but I may start to because its so hard to find the brands my daughter can use (she's allergic to many things and thrive sells them). It would easier to have it delivered vs driving 1 hr each time I run out. Sucks you can't look on the sight prior to ordering.

Today, I went to the same steakhouse I’ve been taking my family to for the last 10 years. Normally, a small salad was included with the meal, but starting today, it wasn’t-so we ended up paying an extra $30. The steaks were lower quality and came in smaller portions. It’s frustrating to see what’s happening to businesses across America. If politicians like Kamala Harris start implementing higher taxes on restaurants, as she's proposing in her policies, more businesses might be forced to close. This could push us toward an economy where only the elites thrive, while the rest struggle, it’s called socialism. This is why I’m voting for Trump-he stands for protecting small businesses and keeping the American dream alive!

Yup vote blue. So you understand this all happened because of a global pandemic that affected everyone right? And if Trump acknowledged it our handled it better at all he’d still be in office. The US currently has the lowest inflation in the world at 3%. Companies have been found guilty in court with emails from high ups at companies using the pandemic as an excuse to raise costs. The only side that’s trying to actually fight companies from doing this is the left. They even tried to pass a bill last year addressing it and who shot it down? Guess. Republicans. Because they knew it would look good for Dems in upcoming election. So yes we need house, Congress, all of it blue then price gouging bill has a shot. Trump has gone on record saying he wants no laws passed on price gouging.

HI Bobby, thanks for the information. How do you suggest chicken be stored for the freezer if you have no air suctioning device? Thank you

It's so annoying that grocery stores don't keep paper towels readily available near the meat counters. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten gross meat juices from shopping fresh meat! A few weeks ago, I literally grabbed a single roll of paper towels that was a few steps from the meat area, opened them to wipe off my hands and left them by the meat counter to maybe send a message!!

Honestly, our government has no idea how people are suffering these days. Imuch feel sorry for disabled people who don't get the help they deserve. All thanks to Miss Stella Francis, imagine investing $1000 and receiving $5700 in a few days....
