This is so goofy I love it xD My own cheese tactic was to use an entrainement durant to give one of her mons truant, since the AI doesn't realise it's a negative effect it won't switch out and you can then use a baton pass team with protect spam to max your stats for free and sweep.

I already knew the infamy in this battle, even before I arrived at it. So, I looked for a way to pass it and I came across your video. I replicated the strategy, although since I have bad luck and don't trust myself much, I added bits of other strategy, like using Pokemon with Destiny Bond and tactics like Counter and Magic Coat. Anyway, my trained Purugly, named Golith, was the one who won the battle. Thank you very much for the guide

Are you using the latest patch version 13.0.5? No matter how many times I try this battle the AI never incorrectly uses Sleep Talk on a turn it wakes up.

Ai in this game actually knows rng variables like which turn it'll wake up on. If the variable says it'll still be asleep, it'll click sleep talk. If it says it'll wake up the very same turn, it'll go for an attack.

you can also steal leftovers and choice items from bladestar grunts or random trainers by using thief, fling and then recycle, garbodor can learn all 3 moves

I'm calling BS on this one. Hypnosis has an accuracy of 60% and you used 10 in a row successfully, and without any modifiers that I can see from abilities, held items, glitch field, or wonder room that would mean you have a .6^10 chance or 0.6% chance of this happening. Technically possible but pretty much just RNG abuse

not a huge issue when you can just keep f12ing to get the outcome you want, I’ve had to use strats with like 0.5% chances of victory before
