Something that helped me in this fight was grinding to high TP off of the first heart attack. The pattern makes the bullets easy to graze, and it lasts a long time if you don’t destroy the heart. Additionally, if you just shoot out the mouth in the face attack, you can pretty easily dodge the nose and eye while grinding TP from it.

Some personal tips that helped me beat the boss 1. Conserve up to at least 50 tp before using an X slash, this ensures that even if the next attack hits you particularly hard you'll still have enough tp for fried pipis 2. Make sure to equip the bouncing blade. While I think there's one other stronger weapon kris can get in ch2, the bouncing blade's mix of decent damage and added defense definitely makes it a must have for the snowgrave version of this boss 3. During the face attack it's usually ideal to take out the mouth first, then the eyes, but keep the nose. Leaving only the nose allows for fairly easy tp gain, and the attacks stay relatively the same whereas if you kill the eyes last their attacks become slightly harder to dodge Lastly, I think the broken heart attack is actually called something like the wire heart attack

Also one last thing, due to a recent patch you probably shouldn't use the spamshot unless if you're looking for a challenge. Using it now will cause spamton to become enraged making him deal more damage, his attacks overall take longer and more difficult to dodge, and the boss becoming generally tougher

Here’s a tip that a lot of people miss for the one attack with the spamton head with the phone hands, if you fire one big shot followed by several normal shots at the head, the head will be shot back by a HUGE amount for some reason. Try it out yourself if you don’t believe me, it makes it so that you have way more space

For the Moai attack, it's possible to destroy 2 parts and to leave the last one alive : If you destroy all 3, you'll get a "free" time the next time the pattern appears, then the next one will have all 3 parts coming back full HP. Meanwhile, if you leave 1 alive, it will have tougher versions of its pattern to attack you BUT the 2 others will never respawn until the end of the fight !

my advice for the heart chain attack (only the one big one not the one with one big and two small hearts) is don’t attack it, and get close to the diamonds for A LOT of free tp as the attack goes way longer if you don’t destroy the heart. also [for the snowgrave spamton fight] if you defend for the first three moves up until the heart chain, you’ll have full tp no problem.

I finally managed to beat this boss... my god it was tough! But I found that farming for tp as early in the fight as possible helps. Then use the tp to use that powerful slash attack and try to use items instead for healing if you can. Don't bother focusing on using the fight command, its really weak. I think the biggest reason why I won though was luck. And I guess you do naturally get used to the boss's attack patterns.

What people don't understand is it isn't a surefire strategy, it's just the only way you can possibly beat it. A tip from me: In this fight, Take advantage of defending and bullet grazing; doing these both will get you more TP faster. I’d recommend the pink ribbon included in your armor, this makes it easier to bullet graze by increasing the area. Use the Mecha-saber as your weapon, so you have 18 ATK.

These bosses are so fun because the more I try the earlier attacks seem so much easier or slower. I'm trying to do a no hit spamton isn't too difficult but the thing I'm seriously struggling with is the mouth attack thing and my strat is to destroy the nose first then going for the eye because the mouth isn't too bad to dodge once you get enough experience. "spider phone" isn't too difficult once you do it a few times and learn the patterns. I'm a Playstation player so I can't enjoy the benefits of unlimited big shots

Spamton Neo on the rollercoaster is easy, because of your many options. If you all snap wires, you can deplete 7% each round. Which could mean you could end the round in only 15 rounds. On Snowgrave, you’re alone, and it is harder to heal. You can only deal a little damage, unless you gain a lot of TP and X-Slash. This depletes 8% of his HP.

I only learned from this video about the Z + C tip. I know one better. The upsides are it's harder unless you temporarily rebind your keyboard, however he won't get mad. So more clicking, but he doesn't hit as hard. If you press Z + Enter and spam Enter you can bigshot spam. This is really good for the pipi's, heart, phone, and especially moai. Now that I've beaten this spamton no damage I've decided to come back here to share some tips in case somebody wants to do something similar. The first two are the same as in the video but maybe don't use a big shot you only need to shoot 3 of the 6 heads and you can also get the tp from it with is important. Use x slash whenever you can here and you can kill spmaton before he has the chance to do the worst attack spider phone phase 2. The first heart attack its better to not attack the heart at all because the pattern is simple wherever the heart is it will always shoot 3 projectiles straight and 3 up diagonally and 3 down diagonally. This is a good thing because it's incredibly easy to dodge and the attack lasts a long time if you don't destroy the heart so you can farm loads of tp here (on my best attempt i was able to get 50% before the pipis attack) witch is important because you can use more x slashes. For the "moai" attack I personally recommend taking out the nose and then the eyes. You can do this in the sake turn if you are fast enough and it takes 4 big shots to destroy one so sense the attack already starts you out in the middle you c immediately charge up your big shot and count how many times you shot. If you go fast enough you can skip the nose attack altogether because you already destroyed it. For spamtons final attack I found that going up and down might be pointless because going in the middle school makes it so none of them hits you (I found this in one of my attempts but it could be false sense I didn't have the opportunity to test it again) the hit box is smaller then it looks here. The faster heart attacks and especially the triple heart attacks I would recommend focusing more on dodging if you are planning to do a no hit spamton and judt spamming big shots until you hit the heart enough. It looks difficult because there are so any attacks on the screen but it's not difficult at all to dodge once you get a feel for it. Once you learn these attacks defeating spamton becomes simple (on snowgrave spamton it took me 3 attempts to defeat him because of all my practice in no hit basement spamton neo witch is actually harder then snowgrave spamton)

My strategy is to equip the MechaSaber (get it from the Sweet, Cap, and K_K's shop) fill your [ inventorium ] with CD Bagels and 1 TensionBit. Use TensionBit on the first turn. i really only lost this fight twice because a) in the version i played, the loaded disk was already inserted upon respawning, so i couldn't leave to get more items, not helped by the fact that i didn't find either revive mint from chapter 2, and b) heart chain 3, which he loves to use right after his special attack anyway, neat video! i personally leave the nose for last in the moai attack since its pattern doesn't change(?) when it's the only part left

One thing that helped me with this boss is thatyou can sometimes use the bombs to clear out some heads (with a little bit of luck you can even clear out 2 rows of the heads) oh and I usually use minishots after the 3 head towers, I just find it easier than to sit and charge a big shot (I am a nintendo switch player so I think I get a little bit of aim assist but idk) other than that, every tactic in this video works flawlessly

the moai attack is so hard, the mouth feels like pure rng

The mouth bubbles tend to fly under your soul on the first attack, in front of your soul as you tap backwards, and then it tends to attack in a spread if the lips aren't destroyed yet. If you follow the dodging tips I provide and stay on your toes, it should make the pattern easier to deal with until you destroy the lips, but there is no avoiding that annoying rng-like aspect of it. If you let the lips attack 4-ish times in a row, you're probably in for a bit of a hard time, so try to keep the pace of your big shots up to destroy them before then. Dodging the other two attacks is a piece of cake in comparison.

For the F1 trick on switch or controller, anything with joysticks and no keyboard, press the right stick to do the F1 healing thing.

I just gave up after 4 days of trying and was like: “Yeah Spamton in snowgrave is a number too big for me” and deleted the safe file Unlike with Undertale, I decided to not look at every spoiler when playing Deltarune, so when I gave up on Snowgrave, I just looked up the ending on KZbin Quite the bummer, but eh, I also gave up on Undyne the Undying in Undertale. Guess I’m a huge quitter :)

@@ProdCharles Thanks man, I did spend my time on my hobby though. Gaming is kind of a side hobby for me, like I do it occasionally, but art, for example is my main hobby. I can sit on a piece for several hours straight, there are several paintings where I spent 4 hours on them. So I did end up creating art afterwards, because yk, when each art piece takes that long, it’s best to start early haha

The run shown here is the snowgrave route and in that route you'll only see Kris and Noone else thus the fight is harder. Now yoy can do some of the steps here but for me the boss is much more easier with Susie and ralsei

These tips are pretty helpful, but honestly fuck this fight. I didn’t have fun playing this part at all. I just wanted it to be over so bad. I’ve been trying for a few hours now and I’ve only barely gotten past the first Moai stage.

Some people have said to destroy the mouth and eyes and leave the nose for an easier phase. Honestly, the fight really is frustrating for a while before the dodging kinda clicks enough for you to survive.

actually, I have a trick. With it, I managed to beat him after the attack right before the "ITS FOR ME?!" thing. I kept defending when I had less than 25% TP instead of regular attacks. With this tip, you can keep using X-Slash and get a quick victory.
