@Markunator you have to understand my reasoning. I don't watch many new movies. They aren't great. So out of the new movies I HAVE seen. It's the worst. But In the last two months this has been knocked down about 7 spots by what Disney and many others are currently releasing including snow white. This now looks like a masterpiece in comparison

A24, the studio that released _this_ film, _usually_ releases good stuff - and even when it’s _not_ good, it’s generally speaking at least _interesting._ Then there’s Neon, and other indie studios. Also, the entire foreign market. As for “blockbusters”, this year, I personally at least enjoyed _Deadpool & Wolverine, Furiosa, Alien: Romulus,_ and _Inside Out 2._ Just sayin’! ☺️

@@Markunator i dont actually sit down to watch a lot of these movies myself. I watch plenty of recaps and reviews of them tho. I'm aware of A24. They're not as good as you believe. They're flashy teen catching life can be a movie style productions that catch a very specific audience. There's not many who appreciate movie and media and can give A24 their props. It's a hack production. Practically everything from them is subpar. I can understand if you yourself and others may enjoy them but overall they're not good by any means. As for blockbusters. They don't even exist anymore it's just an attributed word keeping the genre/bracket alive. Deadpool and wolverine was very enjoyable I watched it three times but overall it was a very empty movie. When it ended is when it should have only been begining. The whole industry is gone to the dogs. There's nothing that comes to mind worth saying is even watchable, from all independent creators, indie, hipro etc. It's all rubbish. But some are enjoyable don't get me wrong. Enjoyable doesn't make it good however. Hopefully things change soon
