Exactly, it's an awful idea to try to conserve liquids if you have so little on you as this guy did. You're more likely to dehydrate if you try to ration out so little. You want all of that liquid in you and the clock to start ticking from there, not for the clock to continue ticking down just a little more slowly while you take sips here and there. A couple gulps here and there will not keep you hydrated, at best it will make you FEEL better and fix a dry mouth. In this situation there is zero reason not to down it all at once because you're better off being in tip top shape from the beginning of a murder game rather than being in subpar shape for (potentially) a little longer.

You can ration food yes that is really good for you in a survival situation but you are not supposed to ration water cuz that will end up killing you from dehydration

Rule of thumb is to drink WHEN you feel thirsty. Have you seen how many people are found dead and dehydrated in the desert despite having water on them? Or how you should drink calmly and sporadically after a long time without drinking in order to not fuck up your body by downing 5 bottles in a row

At 24:00 when you were explaining what sunglasses guy was doing and calling Sakamoto an idiot for going to get the supplies you left out a very big detail. Sakamoto never even went near the bag, he used the fact that sunglasses guy could only see him with one eye and the distortion that made him seem closer than he actually was to trick him into detonating the trap, this was because he knew he was planning a trap and wanted him to waste it.

I have found a unfortunately gruesome yet effective way to use someone’s bombs. Keep the owner’s fingers/ hands so you can activate them. You would either have to scavenge them off dead bodies or take them off if needed. They mentioned that only the owner can activate the bombs. I would say take entire hands because you can get the shards in the process along with the “ keys” to the bombs.

I like to think I could do decently on the whole survival bit. I fast Mon-Fri 3 times a month eating nothing and still do mini workouts through out the day (granted I have enough extra weight to do this in a healthy manner) but combat would kill me

Well, let me tell you guys why @Albie 's plan to take out Mr. Overall when facing that military guy won't work. There are two big flaws in his plan that he didn't thought about. First related to the Sonar devices they have implemented, and second related to the Militant's training. Let me explain in my replies!

So now the first flaw is related to the Sonar or more likely motion detector implanted in the arms. We can see that during the time that Sakamoto attacked, the Militant using his sonar to find his location, the only reason why Sakamoto was not caught cuz he was staying still at the time when the Sonar was activated. But if he were to take Mr. Overall as a hostage, his cover would be blown. Because even if he would have tied him up, there'll be some motion being detected by the Sonar, AKA motion detector from Mr. Overall trying to struggle or even him moving to activate the bomb for Sakamoto and also of Sakamoto trying to disable the bomb or even cut the fingers. So now if the Militant were to use his Sonar, he'll observe the weird motion signals being picked up and will know the exact location of both Sakamoto and Mr. overall, ultimately ruining his cover. Although what could have been done was using Mr. Overall as a bait to lure in the militant for a unavoidable trap.

The next mistake made was related to underestimating the Militant. Being from the military background myself, our first practice/regime of whenever taking a shelter in an unknown location would be to scout the area for possible threats, ambush, escape routes and having a better understanding of our environment. Now if I'm in that Militant's shoes, after locating Sakamoto's location and understanding which and what kind of room he's in, I wouldn't be going through the main door of course. There are going to be 2 ways to approach this situation. 1st create a distraction on the front door and attack him from the widow, because that would be the place where he's most likely less going to think I'm going to attack, or the other way is setting up an ambush or a trap of my own ready from him waiting to leave the room and goes into the serching mode again. And trust me, a Militant would be a thousand times better in using bombs then some deep shit emo/NEET gamer kid. And hence, because of these two small yet costly mistakes, our narrator here would be certainly dead in this situation! So good luck! 👍
