This Ghostface was diffrent, you could see it in bodega, it was brutal, efficient and by all means personal. You could see he was combat trainied. With the way he clears bodega. It was obvious it was either Wayne Bailey or Kirby Reed, a Police Officer and FBI Agent respectively.

I knew right away the chick was one of the killers because she was the only one that got killed offscreen, and like Joe Bob Briggs use to joke, #1 rule of slasher movie is that no one is dead unless you see them decapitated or impaled. Also is it just me or Jenna Ortega's character (Tara I think?) had major plot armor? She got stabbed in stomach and back I think and she somehow still managed to jump around, fight Ghostface and get revenge, yet somehow didn't bleed to death from all those major wounds.

It’s a case of the movie writers wanting their social messaging but it also conflicts with the plot at times It reminds me of Barbie. They really wanted to push the oppressed woman narrative but they also insisted that the women be empowered and independent They do the same thing with Sam.. it makes it hard for me to really see her as a victim when she is just a badass Wes and Kevin understood the final girl had to be vulnerable and actually lose at times. Here they give the girls so much agency it’s obvious they are never actually going to be in any danger and their victory isn’t very satisfying.

After watching Your Next, movies like this don't do it for me anymore. A killer being a normal person would have all the same limitation; they trip and fall over, they suffer from exhaustion, they be easy to handle in a group. Unless they're packing heat or are in a group, humans are not that hard to deal with.

It was more in the shoulder, the cast was probably for it, but the stomach needs stiches asap. Bleeding out is really bad. She should have been in the hospital and she shouldnt move much to not destroy her shoulder or whatever is left of the bone connecting the spine/back otherwise you can be paralyzed for life. She got lucky with the stab placement that JUST could have missed her vital bones and tissue. But yeah, she shouldnt be walking with that stomach. Bring her to the hospital. But movies are never realistic and they aren't meant to be. The movie isnt trying to be realistic but just provide you with fun.

Wow... Glad I skipped out on this one. Listening to Nerd while working gave me a pretty neat headcanon. A disturbingly capable Ghostface (dual wields, parkour, breaks every rule, unpredictable and creative), going around on a several month long spree, killing off fanatical fans, copycat killers, anyone that's writing a book or making a film about it, and every other main character that's still alive in this franchise, all because he's sick and tired of how dumb, repetitive and soulless it's gone and just wants it all to end, who turns out to be some background classmate of Sidney's or something, and just kills Tara and himself off, and pins the blame on Sam

What winds me up, amongst other things, is the cleaning the knife from blood gimmick. I understand that it is supposed to be Ghostfaces signature, but non of the killers in the whole franchise would have known that the previous killer did that gesture, because it is such a subtle thing, that only maybe survivors would have known that. So when the 2 killers did that simultaneously, my eyes were bleeding.

i'd guess the directors/ screenwriters of stab read gale's books and that went into detail, as gale uses detail, and then used her experience to write the film. and then the killers watched stab. eg: Mickey, Roman, Charlie, Both Amber and Richie watched stab, and all three faces saw richie's home movie, so thats how i can best explain it.

Then get yourself a CWP and stop worrying over Ghost face. There are no supernatural boogie men in reality. The only monsters in this world bleed. Get the tools and training you need to ensure you're the last one standing.

I’m far from being a modern day Nancy Drew and even I knew it was Bailey. They make a giant point to say that he is overly obsessed w his daughters safety, but also he is completely fine with her being roommates with someone who half the public thinks might be a psycho killer who got away with it. And even if he didn’t think she was a killer. what over protective father is going to still let you stay with someone who is being currently stalked by a murderer.

This is great, it addresses all my issues with this movie and then some. My 'favorite' is Bailey running at Sam with a loaded weapon instead of firing... No, wait, it's how he kept the case even after his daughter was pseudo-murder. Or maybe it's how no one ever found out he was Richie's father, or anything about Richie's family in general, despite the whole subreddit dedicated to the dude and having an FBI agent and a reporter on their side. Or even how obvious it was that the detective was involved because of the access Ghostface had to evidence from past crimes. Or you know, 373743 different things.

Whether Sam Carpenter admits it or not, I think its her father's/grandmothers genetics that kept her alive in both Scream V and VI. Sidney, Gale, Dewey, and even Kirby goes for a gun first because against an opponent that uses a knife range weapons help. But Sam just seems like a is a natural with a knife when facing her enemies. Although I don't blame her for not admitting it since Billy and Nancy Loomis are killers. Still Sam brings a whole new perspective in how to take down the ghostface killers by relying on the same weapon her father used to kill: the knife.

More than anything I hate the decisions of the killer(s) after they are revealed. In Scream 5 the girl killer that had her face burned, clearly outnumbered, decides to yell as she runs at Syd, Gale and Sam instead of exiting and developing a new plan. Same in this one. The girl killer charges Sam who has a gun, instead of hiding and waiting for the right moment to ambush.
