You didn't think of the fact that they could have just tried littering the floor with tacks, nails, legos and other sharp objects. Since Kevin Bacon has to walk around naked in order to be fully invisible, he is at a severe disadvantage without shoes. As soon as they suspect that he is close, the others should quickly throw out a fist full of tacks. If he walks into them, they will not only mark his location for as long as he doesn't pull them out but also severely handicap him in a fight due to the pain.
@mar-shagazorpazorp64312 жыл бұрын
Kevin Bacon was the star of my nightmares for years lmao. For real tho, I wondered the same thing. I thought these were brilliant scientists! They couldn’t toss nails, tacks, or even some sorta liquid/lubricant, paint, even glue, etc. everywhere they go, forcing him to wet his bare feet to indicate where he goes!? Sometimes less is more! @spiderFern2 жыл бұрын
Honestly it may have had little to do with the formula, and I only say little because his heart rate was increased. The serum itself stressed his body, but add on the psychological component to that stress and he was likely on some level of fight or flight mode the whole time. Your body is actually a whole lot stronger than you think, but it has mental checks to keep from tearing itself apart. These mental checks the brain does are subconscious, but they can be overwritten. Think hysterical strength, such as when a mother lifts a car off her child or someone walks miles to safety on a broken leg. If the brain interprets a situation as urgent enough that ripping your body to shreds is preferable to the alternative, it will often let you push those subconscious limits to dangerous levels. Basically, he doesn't need super strength or super healing from the formula: his own, normal human brain can choose to shut off the pain and ignore the damage he's inflicting on himself when he taxes his muscles to their limit.

@Mant111 Жыл бұрын
It's established earlier in the movie that the gorillas and dogs eventually became aggressive because of the mental stress of being invisible. One of the dumbest things they keep doing is splitting up. One on one baconboy has the adventage, but as long as several people are within a short distance of eachother he‘ll have a hard time to attack one of them without the other researchers dogpiling him. Not to mention that everyone keeps taking of their heat vision goggles. I find it strange that they'd pour silicone over the guys face/body, just so he can see himself. Just cause he's invisible, doesn't mean his skin (and it's pores) no longer exist. Within just a couple hours of a large part of his body being covered by silicone; He'd be heavily uncomfortable wearing the latex skin, and (wearing it long enough) could result in some serious harm, due to the skins tissue not being able to properly circulate air and breathe.

Thinking about the part where he said it's too bright, wouldn't you technically be blind if all and every part of your body was transparent? It’s safe to say I’ve watched way too much of this channel, watching a documentary last night. Someone had left evidence and it just slipped out “that was his biggest mistake” 😂😂😂

9:20 Hello fresh ad starts 10:24 Hello fresh ad ends You’re welcome, guys! If I were in the movie, I’d use my powers for good and small personal benefits. I would also probably help the government in exchange for some benefits such as being paid a high amount of money, having military benefits and discounts, etc. What about you guys?

This movie was this close to becoming fnaf. A central room with 2 doors and security cameras? We could have had something there.

What makes me so traumatized by this movie was when Sebastian stabbed Matt and now he has a scar from him...imagine having to see that everyday getting reminded of him all the time and when him and Linda make love removing his shirt seeing that scar...I can't imagine...i know it's just a film and all tho I feel for Matt and his poor skin 😭😭😭😭

Facts. In my opinion Matt is more attractive than Sebastian. I can see why Linda left Sebastian for Matt. 😏 I felt bad for Matt when Sebastian severely and badly injured him with the crowbar. 🥺😞😭 When I first saw the scene I cringe and squirm as of today it still has the same effect on me. 😰😱😣😖 Matt got his revenge though when he knocked out Sebastian when he was attacking Linda and attempted to kill Linda by saying " STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!!!!" Wacthing Matt doing that to Sebastian was so satisfying as it put a smirk on my face. 😍😎💯👍😏😈

In my opinion Sebastian is a complex character. It makes the audience feel sorry for him and want him to win such as getting a chance of happiness in life as he was dealing with heartbreak of the end of his relationship with Linda as she left him for Matt due to his personality as he wasn't their for her, was quarantined in the laboratory due to his condition of being completely invisible due to the invisibility serum as he wanted to do human testing as he was constantly put under needle's, experiments, and radiation tests to bring him fully back to normal but to no avail as the more he stays in isolation the slowly he descends into madness, doesn't get no recognition and credibility at all, and they're we're going to give him up to the committee but at the same time Sebastian had a horrible personality such as being cocky, arrogant, and narcissistic as he was always joking he was god towards his teammates, sexually assaulted a team member, rape his next-door neighbor, kill a dog, and kill innocent people. If Sebastian had a different personality his life would have been better and bright as Linda will still be with him, his teammates will appreciate him, and he will get tons of recognition and credibility.

It's established earlier in the movie that the gorillas also became aggressive after a certain time being invisible. Sebastian wasn't a good man but he wasn't a bad man either, it was the stress of his condition that eventually got to his head and made him go maniac.

You are mostly right about Invisibility being basically a 'nefarious' power. But the Science needed to accomplish "total light refraction" on a biological lifeform, would be extremely useful in a number of other fields; such as medical treatments.
