As a female myself myself, the female lead irritated me the entire movie. The entire movie, Hye-Sun couldn't do anything herself. The only thing she did was follow people blindly, cried for her boyfriend, and made people sacrifice themselves for her. Not to mention she had the audacity to not only cry while her boyfriend was getting beat up and not help, but she just kept looking down at the zombies instead of fvcking moving along, thus the innocent man who tried to help her died. Not to mention he had way more potential. Man did she piss me off so much the entire film. If I were in this movie I would NOT hesitate to push her right into the grasp of the zombies.

In theory women should survive longer cause of calorie efficency, however given the lolgic of zombie movies where fights happen all the time ye no women would be pretty usless cause a -50% in upper body strength is extremely significant. I ain't no stud myself and have some fairly extremely debilitating problems (including but not limited to blood sugar stuff involving lunch blah blah blah) but I still think at worst I'm slightly bellow avarage compared to the avarage female while in the bottom 5% of men.

You say she chose climb the overhanging cables using an inefficient method, but given how few women have the upper body strength required to perform a pull-up, it's far more likely that she wasn't able to hoist herself up in order to hook her legs around the cable.

true that is a huge factor in it as I also had struggling hoisting myself up in this method and the amount of arm and leg strength you need which she didn't have. As someone who fondly climbs a lot I can say that since she is in fact a grown woman she shouldn't have really followed the strong guy since she has very low upper body strength but since it was her only option I don't blame her

Although I enjoyed the twist ending of the "dad" turning out to be a pimp and the sad reality that even during an apocalyptic event her REAL family didn't (or maybe couldnt) come for her. It reeeaaally causes issues with that dudes motivations lol. I think its fairly believable to face down hordes of undead and force yourself to cooperate with a teenage shithead like the exbf in the given case that you're trying to save your daughter during this type of outbreak. But I just cannot get over how insanely stupid it is that this pimp and this boy who had literally no legitimate concerns with saving or locating her repeatedly jumped into the mouth of death to do so. They faced zombies by the dozen and had tons of close calls with dead-end locations like the hospital. And had a working vehicle to make an escape from the city. They were even on the Safe side of the police barricade and had every opportunity to evacuate multiple times, with or without armed escort. But no... he purposely leaped head-first into certain death for....a prostitute who owed him money.

To be fair this anime is set in a universe where the disease doesn't seem to spread beyond Korea, so you might be fine. (I don't remember for sure how far it spreads, but its definitely limited in scale as its not a global disaster) Honestly though it wouldn't be crazy difficult to clear the nation, it would take time and effort, but once you use firebombing or peppering crowds of zombies with machine guns from helicopters/planes an army with proper discipline would be able to clear the remaining zombies without much effort. (I am assuming they decided demolition is better then risking infection in this scenario, so they are willing to destroy a lot instead of take risks clearing dangerous areas)

American Paramedic here: a few notes regarding a typical ambulance load-out (referring to system-status ALS transport units, which I have every reason to believe that ambulance is; not community medicine ambulances) you would first be able to get out of the ambulance by simply stating that you wanted to refuse care and offer to sign an AMA (Against Medical Advice)form. You then want to grab the “first in” or “Jump” bag, this is usually the size of a large travel bag and contains a sampling of all items on the ambulance. Then, the cardiac monitor will be PRICELESS and of infinite value to any medically trained personnel in your group. You would then want the Epinephrine from the drug bags “cardiac arrest” pouch, as well as diphenhydramine. But sadly, no ALS transport unit in a major city will have antibiotics on-board, nor any aloe Vera

Watched this on Amazon prime for free (they had a deal with shudder). The way my anime loving cousin bullied this movie for being in 3D lmao. I watched this movie. I enjoyed it a lot and it scared me shitless, but I get scared in horror movies like this in a different way. When the sunset comes along with a beautiful sky as the dying man walks through and everyone isn’t acknowledging him. What’s even more terrifying about this scene is that everyone is walking past their only warning before all hell was going to break loose. Another scene is when Hye-Sun walks around Seoul station as the homeless people sleep. This scares me because Hye-Sun and the homeless people don’t know what is at the brink of happening while the absence of sound fills the air. The one that also scares me a lot is when the cops who are on the other side of the city blocked by a bus in the barricade are with Hye-Sun’s boyfriend and unexpected pimp who notice soldiers coming along, which causes the boyfriend to ask the cop who I think is the chief what will happen now and the cop responds by telling him that capital defence is now in full control as he too is terrified. This tells me that hell is closing in on the barricade, the soldiers are going to have to fight as best as they can for their country and lives and that everyone is doomed to die and turn. I think there are other scenes that scare me in this movie, but I don’t remember them right now. This is easily one of my favourite zombie movies. The perfect prequel for Train To Busan.

A lot of characters could have survive if they only use their brains, even just a small portion of common sense.The only potential character is the old man wearing a sando , he did not turned himself a zombie but he died as a human. The protagonist could make a plan to meet somewhere safer instead of keep running and running even though there is no zombie. She should conserve her energy, wear something to protect herself, and wear a shoe because running with barefoot is dangerous and find a pointed weapon if she can't find a gun. She could gone in stores to find walkie talkie and batteries and water bottle and just rest for awhile. Instead of running throughout the night, she could message his ex boyfriend to hide first somewhere and meet in the morning. Some people might reacted in the same way when there is apocalypse but not everyone will reacted that way, the only problem with this film is that they did not plan anything and just go with the flow. There are a lot of infastructures to hide first and plan everything. They don't even know what's the nature of the zombies what if the zombie is not used in light?They could have waited for the sunrise. Also, there is no problem if there is no MCs survived in the end but atleast she could have redeem herself and not just accepting her fate becoming a zombie. All of the decisions here in the movie are not all believable, although some will argue that in reality a lot of people will do the same but in reality a lot of people have already watched zombies so it's possible some people will plan their survival. The film has potential to be good but it's only flaws are the decisions that made the audience feel like the characters didn't do anything much for them to survive, it's like they just tired themselves from running
