Wow, this woman has done the work! Her advice to diversify our lives is so true. I've been putting off learning pottery for years now. That might be the Christmas gift I will offer myself! But Terri, I find that at 49, it's so difficult to make new friends because being overworked and then bingeing on social media or streaming platforms for self-gratification, as you pointed out, seem to be the norm now. Giving yourself the gift of a pottery class sounds like a great start 💕 Who knows who you might meet there? I find it's easier to make friends in that type of environment because you already have something in common, and you're seeing each other regularly. Those people have already chosen to prioritize themselves and their creativity over overworking or endlessly scrolling. I also suggest volunteering somewhere, or looking for Meetup groups!
