Fun vlog, Kristen! I love the idea of indie author interviews/collabs. Both your videos with Kaila, and your interview with Sunny were some of my top fave items you’ve created thus far. Doing something in the same realm with indie authors you dig would be very interesting. You can talk to them about their writing process, publishing views, what they wish they’d known prior to getting their book out, and of course, a little bit about the book itself. You can make it fit the vibe you already have going with your vlogs and That Smart Hustle! I think it would be a hit.

I do think possibly adding interviews for Indies is a great way to promote community. Too often I think we compete rather than network and work together so I am super glad you brought light on the fact that Indie Authors are a community. I'm really interested to see a "spotlight on" indi authors. I would love to see interviews with all rounded questions: what's your book/about, how did you get where you are as an author, were you working/studying/etc when you began writing (and how did you manage that), where to next, all that kind of stuff. That way it's not just about the one book, but about the author as a whole and, when you put all the spotlights together, the indi writing community as a whole. :)

I think you're going to lose it when you come to Brazil and eat Açaí in here. They have so many different kinds of things to put in it and it is served in an ice cream mode or something (I don't really like it, but) you're going to love it.

I love the idea of doing something involving indie authors (especially since I too am an indie author ;-) ) Maybe interviewing other indie authors about their book and how they got started, and maybe how they are marketing their books. This way it's not you reviewing books....I don't know.....just an idea. Btw love your channel!

how about imbedding the author spotlights into your vlogs like you did today and adding it in the title as well. but, I do like the ideas of the author interviews! you could interview them after reading their books and just have that as a separate video. maybe like once a month or something too not add too much to your already full workload.
