I love your videos doc, I’m a 17 year old in high school, just rediscovered hammonds about a year ago from my obsession when I was very young, and then it occurred to me I could find them on Craigslist, 2 M3’s and an M100 later I realized I needed to learn quite a bit about restoration, and it’s now my dream job to become a technician, partially due to my love for electronics, and also for Hammonds. Thank you for this video and all your other videos which I’ve taken great knowledge from

I would like to thank you for sharing the great knowledge on Leslies/Hammonds, God has blessed you with. You are a great help to so many people, and churches out there who's organs now have that sound needed to really set the tone with an explosive sound.

Thanks, Doc, great to know you're out there and potentially able to help. I have a C-3 with a Leslie that ran well 20 years ago. It was stored out of my control for several years, but it's now back in my possession. One or more cables plus the Leslie switch are missing, but otherwise seems intact. Got her from my brother in the 80's when he was a keyboard technician. He's still available as a consultant/moral support but lives in a different town and is out of the tech loop. I'm a carpenter/contractor with lots of tools, problem-solving skills and house wiring ability but with minimal electronics knowledge. Knowing you are there as a potential consultant motivates me to clear some space in my crowded shop in order to start analyzing what needs to be done. Peace out.

I just brought a M-101 back to life that hadn't ran in 20 + years. No one thought I could get it working. 15 hours total of work over a few weeks and I got it running smooth as can be. Also,. your videos were extremely helpful resources, thank you. I restored an upright piano grand a few years ago too, and rebuilt the whole hammer mechanism and salvaged and restored all the original felts,... that took 85 hours though.

Hey Doc! Can do a video on how to wire in a tremelo off chorale switch to a 11 pin wire! i currently use a standard 3 way toggle switch. for example on (slow) off (fast) on

I only have vintage 5 & 6 pin parts in my shop JP. But from looking at the pin outs for a 11 pin it looks like pin 7 is fast (tremolo) and Pin 8 is slow (chorale). Check out this link: www.captain-foldback.com/Leslie_sub/pinouts.htm
