Very informative, thank you. When practicing, you mentioned online sessions, having an office, running them from home, and home visits. Do you think it would be feasible to do a mixture of the kinds of sessions you run? For example, offering online sessions as well as in person sessions.

You could do. Each option has pros and cons, but the general rule is that the more flexible you can be the better. I've had people who would only see me in their home, so if I'm only doing sessions in a therapy centre they won't be my clients. Others will only do online, or can only be online due to geographical location etc, so if you don't offer online obviously those people won't be your clients etc. But the flip side of this is what is also right for you? You can see more clients back to back in a therapy centre or online. But in a therapy centre you have to pay for the venue. Home visits are higher safety risk to you than in a therapy centre (which is higher than online therapy), and you have to pay for travelling between visits and give enough time between visits for travelling, so you have to factor all this in. But you can often charge more than therapy in a therapy centre. Online has more concerns for things like safety of the client and you may need to know the law in relation to you doing the therapy if the person is from another country or even different locations in a country, for example, some places the law that applies us where the therapist is, other places the law that applies is where the client is. Often people expect to pay a bit less for online therapy, but also costs are often lower as you can do it from home, but you may have to think more about privacy if there could be family or people visiting the home who might overhear things or see the person on the screen etc, so you would need to make sure you have a private location to work from. Online you can be more time flexible often. I'm done coaching with people from the USA overnight my time etc...
