I cried so much with Catherine💜💫💜 I also learned more in that segment than I have in the two years since I lost my mentor of 10 years to covid. The anniversary of her passing was just a few days ago when it hit me like nothing else ever has ....I've been in training for this line of work all my life, even my brilliant mentor use to say she would hire me if she could as life has been my teacher. I decided on the 2nd anniversary of her passing to follow in her foot steps the best I can to honor her life and to go forward helping other people as I continue to heal. I do believe she had a hand in this and she's never far from me. I took notes throughout this entire video and will apply them moving forward with my new found passion (I say new but I've been at this all my days, truly) Thank you so much. Blessings for all💖

I have realised that i really have a place in the world of coaching, the lady that was bullied was so like my son with Aspergers, she has so many sensory issues that have not been dealt with too, i eventually took my son out of school and focused on his strenghts and pshcology of people, for him to understand the world around him, also many others techniques we worked on, he is now social, loved by so many, confident and doing extremely well at college towards his goal of achieving a succesful career in IT, he is a confident empath who helps other while achieving, i am so proud of who he has become.

Thank you so much, you just coached me through this demonstration coaching session. It I was in that client's chair being coached and felt safe and exposed but you coached me as I saw myself, my fear of rejection feeling invisible and abused and always trying to keep others from seeing the victim, the wall flower, lest they think me unworthy to coach them with insight and compassion and intuition. And now I understand the need to turn my focus to be present and fully seeing the client instead of worrying about what the clients see. They will see who I am if I see them, a strong, compassionate empathetic person who is authentic rather than the imposter I fear they will see through. Thank you so much. I now also see that I am allowing my sibling's distorted memories color my life. So those are two issues I am correcting now that I'm aware. The bullies never saw me, they created the wall flower, the fears of bullying, trauma, and rejection and much of where things went wrong in my life were created from my protecting my inner bullied child, the child that has such a difficult time being seen today. Making that a thing of the past, and thank you for helping me through your compassionate insights and questions and one actionable step.

I appreciate Catherine's willingness to be vulnerable on stage and I'm curious to know if Christine would have detected Catherine's lack of self-esteem in her physical presentation. Maybe it was a tough weekend for Catherine and she was running late for this session, but a woman wearing a little make-up and fixing up her hair can be a great confidence booster. I see this a lot with real estate sales women that dress to the max and radiate confidence they are also very successful. I understand a stage presence may not have been the reason behind the role-playing and not want to focus attention on Catherine this way. Just an observation.

The first few minutes were really god and well said, great guidance. Also when catherine was invited, the safe space and understanding the root cause was amazing. However , I do feel the solution ( medicine ) is not the right one. The medicine she gave is NOT to dig deeper on yourself and focus on your clients. I believe if you cant dig deeper inside yourself and heal yourself from within, how will you help and heal others. The rejections, the bullying will come back because it is still there inside and not healed. One must heal themselves first to heal others.

Hi Hina! That's a great insight! It's important to note, as Christine mentioned at the start, that this was a live coaching in front of an audience and with limited time, so it is true Christine didn't dive *too* deep in order to create some insight for the volunteer in the short amount of time given. And also keeping in mind that healing from past trauma should be guided by a licensed therapist, it's a fine line to know as a coach. Thanks for sharing!

In the Moment every person in this world will accept itself the way he or she is, in that moment many industries will disappear- coaching, motivational, new age … you name it. Accept that you are not born for making yourself great, you were born to serve others, limit yourself and serve.

I love the coaching space and think that there are a lot of people in the space that genuinely want to make a positive impact, but my only issue with what's going on in the coaching industry is a lot of people selling and preaching purely subjective information without the backing of real research. I think people in this space need to take a look at the ethical, moral, and legal sides of running a coaching practice. I think this is lacking and I think if this gained more attention, it would help the industry level up

I could not agree more! I loved the part "lean into the solution path, not into the problem one" and then it pulls you in the right direction...also: don't become part of their emotions, stay observant and non-judgemental. It has helped me personally beyond words! Great video, thank you so much!

You mentioned not giving the answers...If you teach what you self coached yourself on..would that be giving your answers on what worked for you?

Great question, Renee! If you teach them a self-coaching tool that they can do on themselves, then it's not considered giving them an "answer" because it's not a solution (yet), it's a tool they must use, "do the work," and then they will find the answer themselves.
