easy to say when you have no concept of how money works. investing in such a car and coming out almost positive is insane. i doubt it was luck also. the man knows his trade, the amount of money he has have no impact on that.

@cultfriction55566 жыл бұрын
Although I love and always appreciate a classic car, I completely disagree. The thing about new cars is they showcase innovation, progress from where cars started. I absolutely love the technological advances newer cars have pushing the limits people didn’t think we’d meet. But all of that being said I absolutely love, respect, admire car manufacturers roots, their start ups, and the classic cars that were once viewed as high tech modern vehicles.

I dig this guy's stories. Also a fan of bye gone times and am very familiar with a certain shop that restored a lot of these pieces of art. I consider myself bottom rung, but have put some people in touch with other people to get beautiful things done. Those locomotives made my heart flutter a bit. My hometown once had the most powerful engine in the world to drag coal cars up a mountain, and there are always crazy stories about the old days. It is cool to see the appreciation for how we all got to where we are today.

Great story. Great car. The kit version of the Aunburnable Phaeton was the 1st car I pitched to my folks at 16. They said no, but I still wound up w/a British convertible sports car so not a bad trade. Kits came gel coated usually off white though. Fyi )Hatton in car terms outside Greek mythology means a 4 door convertible car. Until VW/Bentley bastardized the term. I believe later Auburn's came with a supercharger. DiCaprio's bespoke Deusy was the bomb in the movie. As it was shot in Australia if you notice, about 70% of the cars are right hand drive. Not uncommon for Europe cars sold during that time period. Nice paint job but red? I love the movie but the book is so much better.
