I had also read that comment is totally agreed with the reality of finding govt assistant professor job, today all dream jobs are full of competition so in ds line u must have to patience, communications skills and be expert in your subject, after clearing net, u should join assistant professor job in private colleges as a contract basis and govt colleges as guest faculty for gaining teaching experience, it helps you to get a pure assistant professor job in govt sector By the way informations Shared by u is really helpful ma'am

Library and information science is not a very popular course right now so the pro is that competition will be low and you can easily qualify the exam if you do things dedicatedly but scope for this subject is low as well because you won’t find this course in every university which makes it difficult to get a job.
