Tbh I’d say the best way to go about finding ur style is to question if a piece/aesthetic is what YOU like. Even if u feel most comfortable in a trendy or “basic” aesthetic then go for it as long as it’s what u enjoy and not what those around u prefer. Once you make this about yourself finding your style becomes way easier. Also, as a person with a very fluid style not being afraid to switch things up everyday is a good way to fully represent all of your styles! (sometimes it’s even good to switch things up if you are still in the process of finding your own aesthetic) :)
