"When there's light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person. When there's beauty in person, there will be harmony in house. When there's harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation. And when there is other in the nation there's peace in this world." Thank you for this. Thank you for clearing so many questions I had. This is a beautiful interview ❤

I would say It's a true miracle that I ended up watching this video. I bought a bunch of used English books a year ago just to decorate a corner of my office. I didn't even pick those one by one because the contents didn't matter at all. So I let the book store owner to sort them out and It got delivered to my office directly. Of course I'd never had a glimpse at them until one day the title of the book captured my attention. However It still took me a while to start the book since 1) it's written in English which means I should take extra time and care to read as English is not my mother tongue. 2) I underestimated the book as it was picked randomly and never imagined it was a best seller one. So anyway I was attracted to this book and I started reading it and like many of other readers, it's changing my life. Thank you David and Marci. It was a wonderful 1 hour interview as stunning as the book. I am sending both of you a big love from Seoul!

Amazing! It's beautiful when the right book comes into your life at the right time. I read her other book Love for No Reason about 10 years ago and it absolutely changed (and saved) my life. My life has never been the same since. 💛

the key to being happy for no reason is not about materialism or wealth. the key to being happy for no reason is always looking at your glass half rather than half empty. it's self respect gratitude for the simplest of things and laughter. crying or getting mad makes u old but if you train your brain to fine the funny in any situation. well other than tragedy. but any situation and lend a helping hand just cause someone needs it. if you can help just for the shear gratitude than its pure happy.

Dear ma’am.. I wanted to personally write you an email about how this book has helped me so much. Last year I was going through an extremely rough patch of my life. I had severe anxiety and was depressed. It seemed to me that I was falling in a bottomless dark pit, from where I couldn’t find my way out. I had health anxiety and was always extremely very concerned about the health of my loved ones. I woke up everyday with a pounding heart, and sometimes I would stand in the shower and get so worried if something wrong were to happen, how would I deal with it. I was scared that there was something wrong with my heart, thought I had breast cancer, found a lump under my neck and thought that it was malignant. I would cry every night, get anxiety attacks, panic attacks. I stopped exercising thinking if I died while doing it because my heart rate would obviously shoot up. And then we went to my native, and there my mom caught cough and cold because it was kind of cold, but then I thought what if it’s covid and something wrong happened. I had lost my uncle to covid. And we are extremely very close to them. I panicked because of that too. I couldn’t eat, sleep, rest. I again started feeling extremely very anxious. I would hug mu family, for support. We came back from my native, I went to college but I texted her a zillion times then too. When my sister and brother realised I needed some kind of professional help, they spoke to mom and dad. I was told that I was mad and nothing could help me. That people who have everything are often the ones that showed this kind of drama. I was shouted upon. I was told a lot of things that were humiliating. I was in my room , crying, my siblings explaining, and all I could do was cry in my room. They came to me and asked what was wrong and why I was behaving this way. They told that they had given us the wrong upbringing and this was why it was happening at the first place. I attended one counselling session. They took time to understand. A few months later I found this book and it completely changed my life. I realised that I wasn’t alone in not feeling happy. I learned so much from this book. Whenever I feel anxious, this is my go to book. I feel much much better now. I am just 19 years old. From being a person who was sad, anxious, scared to a comparatively better state, it’s been a long journey and it wouldn’t have been possible without this book. Thank you so much ma’am. You changed my life. Thank you so much.😊

Why do these people belie their smarts by using "rock star" as the "obvious gold standard" of the ultimate life? Drug addicted, groupie promiscuous jerks is a gold standard? Duh.
