As a graduate from an Australian University in medical imaging - I can say getting registered here is a complete nightmare. You are dealing with extremely petty boards, vindictive beurocrats and will wait a long time, pay fees - juming through hoops and eventually either get through or just give up... I ended up just giving up and that is after spending 6 years trying to find a reasonable compromise with the board while they deducted months of SPP practice then the extremists at NSW health decided no 3X jab no work so the registration no longer suited my needs and went back to my former position. I still pay the Hecs debt out of my own pocket. I would rather work ANYWHERE except Australia. Sure the pay is good- However the beurocrats are extreme and the living expenses in Australia are worse. Rather work in India or Pakistan - at least the food is good and the beurocrats seem normal.
