Excellent interview! I’m particularly struck by the very simple explanation of Harriet Tubman envisioning something that had never been done before. A lightbulb moment! Blessings to you all ❤

This truly is an extraordinary conversation. The questions are thoughtful and important, and the answers are brilliant and deeply insightful. I have become an instant fan of the podcast and Mz. Brown! Thank you both.

I am unable to donate at this time. I am white but certainly am supportive of total transparency in teaching the TRUTH of slavery. I do support activism of black actors, entertainers, oppressed people, gay people. However, do not and cannot agree with any nasty, cursive, name calling language. This is totally unnecessary in my opinion. This is an absolute turn off to me. Trying to teach our young people to use proper, edifying, effectual rhetoric, and then being assaulted by this absolutely asinine wordage is beyond acceptable. My mind just immediately skips past this and onto something more sensible and easier to hear. I don't speak like this and actually believe that all such is disingenuous.
