We used to purchase a lot of classmate copies in junior classes and a lot of pages where left in total at last...my father stitched it into a new one that we used for rough work... though we can afford notebooks for new session but my father knew the importance of saving papers !

At last you paste the color adhesive tape on the tread side. It will look good. This is what we were doing in our younger days.
