I have been waiting 11 years to find an answer as to how to honor my father’s letters, journals, diaries, “snippets” as he called his jottings. All found in an old suitcase after he passed, unknown to his children. He was a craftsman, like Dennis, and as sad as it is that he is not alive to go on this journey with me, I am able to labor in love a book such as what Dennis is making, I am not alone. Right now I am going through each video while taking notes. My sewing/craft room is cleared out completely of distractions, as I begin this exciting adventure. I hope others will follow me with their thoughts, and Dennis has promised to be there for me also. I cannot thank you enough for that! Life is good!

My mother's an aspiring writer. Her works are truly incredible, but we're not financially ready enough to publish them officially. I really want her stories to be published in hardcopies, and it breaks my heart to see even though we all want it so bad we unfortunately need to have more patience. So until that happens, I want to do something really special for her. That's why I'm here, trying to learn bits and bobs from this wonderful craftsmanship through as many tutorials as I can. Once I'm bit more confident, I shall print her stories one by one at home, and bind the pages together and try my best for it to look lovely and strong. And I'll give it to her, hopefully on her birthday this year in May! Thank you for posting these detailed and absolutely magnificent videos and walk throughs, I'm learning so much and I'm looking forward to making the very first of my own! Have a beautiful day❤️❤️❤️
