Hi, it seems to work for the most people but we may have to fix some things - for more detail plz join the discord , we have a few people there that reporter problems. I will make a video when the issue is fixed .

Hi✌️, yes there is a modified version with session/hero 5 and camera angle compensation available in the Blackbox2GPMF channel on the Rsgo /gyroflow support discord . You can find an invite link on gyroflow.xyz . Just send me a DM there and i help you out - have to make a public repository for that later !

How to re open the blackbox2gpmf? i don't know about command line. i got it working on first attempt but i could not sync the gyro files exactly. i read one comment below to edit the last 3rd row. i edited it with notepad but dont know how to re open.

you propably have to save the file as .py and run it again like you did the first time..maybe you saved it as .TXT ? That line will just change how far the slider goes to the left side/- .

@@nicecrash I edited the file as text and then ran the gpmf command..it open the blackbox2gpfm window and I was able to sync it very closely but even then in reelsteady go the stabilisation was not very good so I ended up using warp stabilizer

@@RakishRc depending on how good your timing at the recording was, you might want to pick a spike at the beginning or at the end to sync up the 2 plots.

I can open some gopro files and some I cant. Does it have to be filmed with hypersmooth?

What are the ways to use it with 10 or 20 degree camera angle?

To have a variable cam uptilt, you need a recorder that moves with the camera - that will be covered in the next how - to !

It is very impressive! Thank you so much! However I encounter a problem that I need to offset much to sync the two curves. Actually, I cannot sync them well even I slide the bar to far ends. Any idea of what causes that?

HI, looks like some other people exterience the same problem and i work on a fix for that - but i don' t expect it to work this year. There seems to be an issue with numpy as well tht some users run into.

Hey i know this is probably really late, but i ran into this issue today wanting to try RSGO on my hero 7, which started recording a few minutes before takeoff. If you right click the python file and click edit, scroll down to the bottom (3rd line from the bottom) you will see (offset_axis, 'Offset', -1000, 2000, valstep=1), just change those values higher and lower until you can fit it. For me i did -5000, 2000

hi man! I was thinking about using an arduino nano gyro datalogger instead of a secondary flight controller because for me it would be cheaper since I have almost everything I need rather than buying a new fc. have you tried it? do you think that the csv file I'll get from the MPU-6050 would be usable?

We work on a lightweight emu/beta compatible board to log..that will be easier to use and is interesting in price...the first samples are almost there.looks like a tiny kiss fc atm. You can do that logging on arduino but will need external storage - we don't have a script for that yet.

Depends on how you log, samplerate etc. ...we currently sample @1.5 khz and use the bbl file converted to cvs...so Blackbox2gpmf will read your log but might not show then correctly when your CSV looks different. You might be able to tweak your looking when it is diy/Arduino.

That's strange, i have to do some testing next day's to see if I can reproduce that behavior. You can try my sample files here : drive.google.com/folderview?id=1PLpvBay6sk42MiriokGLTMc0QreZvl8B If that works we know that part of your workflow is correct . Session 5 should also work, I tested serval FCs attached to the session mount. Sometimes it was a bit off, don't know why but it may be caused by my tortured Hardware.

@@nicecrash No, this is not working. Like in the gif i send to you, the numbers on the graph is changing but video is not loaded :( maybe i need some extra modules for the session 5 vids? its working fine with hero 7 stabilized/no stabilized video, but not on the session 5 :(

No, i can load and manipulate session files - no extra tools are needed do read those...somehow i start thinking you may have a codec issue or something video decoding related . Do you have exiftool installed like i show in the how-to ?
