For today’s video , I filmed a how to bleach bath hair when already having pre lightened hair ! So I’ve already filmed a how to bleach bath and how to bleach your hair in general , but I have been seeing a lot of people interested in how to bleach wash hair when your hair is already blonde or bleached -or just already light enough and you are just curious to how your hair would look or what exactly could happen. so I decided to film that for you guys since I know that everybody’s hair is different and I am basically also just re-touching my hair but I mean you guys can still get the idea if you’re trying to do this color or are seeing how to bleach hair when your hair is already pre-lightened. I do watch a lot of #bradmondo videos so hopefully y’all don’t treat my ass to much haha. Jk I love how it turned out!!! Next step is haircut! Lol this time ima go to a professional lol . I’m going to get extensions as well!! I have some but I wanna start fresh ! And I’ll also be filming whenever I bleach my extensions as well :D but hope u guys get useful tips and info from my videos & u decide to join the famooo !! If u are trying to find something go fade away or just remove struggle colors like pink and green TRUST ME I’ve been there!!! A nice bleach wash will remove it fast !

Safer option would be 20 volume and incorporating olaplex

Yeah I should’ve diluted it a bit since it’s already light but I never heard of olaplex 😲😲 I’ll look into it ty girl :)

Olaplex is the bomb. I did a stand alone treatment last night to help my bleached hair. At Sally's you can get Ion Absolute Perfection Booster or Wellaplex which are Ion's and Wella's version of Olaplex. They are a lot cheaper than Olaplex, they do help better than having nothing in there, but IMO there is just no comparison for the real Olaplex, even if it costs more.

@Bita Bishopp if you add olaplex to your formula you should be ok providing you keep a close eye on it and keep spot checking. Keep in mind you will have areas that ste prelightened so you might want to work strategically, beginning in the darkest areas you previously missed working your way to the lightest. Careful clean sectioning and a lot of patience will get you your desired results, or you can go see your local licensed professional for a color correction. Good luck!

Alternative would be keraphlex step 1. I love this one the most when it comes to bleaching, coloring. I feel olaplex takes away some brightening affect too

Olaplex actually diluted the volume so 30 and olaplex is more like 20/25 volume with the protection of olaplex 1❤

I’ve done bleach baths on my hair before and always used shampoo! Never thought to use a deep conditioner instead. I’ll give it a try next time! Your hair color is so pretty 🤩✨ Thanks boo! ❤️

I got so distracted replying to a comment I forgot to write one here. This was a great video I used to get my ex to do my roots I hate doing my own hair and he hated it cuz am so dark (level 4/5) it’s very stressful to do this but you did a good job, we’re in lockdown 2 in the UK and Sally’s has been closed :-( am so glad it’s reopened yesterday cuz box dye/bleach kits are less than desirable but needs must, I’m a level 9 atm and I need to do a bleach bath I have slight yellow/orange tinge under this toner. This was one of the better “tutorials” on the tubes on bleaching at least you know what you’re doing and seem informed and knowledgeable. You did a great job with this well done it’s a loook fo sho :-P I enjoyed watching, happy colouring eh!!! Pweeeeeeze do mine if I ever go back to America you can use my Sally card😂

Just watched the video to the end and if you want to keep your hair blonde you want to keep doing your touch ups when it grows out no longer than 1/2 inch any longer and you try to do you will get hot roots and banding and that is no Bueno speaking from experience 😉

So you used the bleach bath on the entire length of your hair, not just the darker area close to your roots, is that correct? I thought you were just doing the area close to your roots but after you were done it looked like it was all over your hair so I couldn't tell haha.

Also, the ion silk leave in therapy, do they still sell that? I couldn't quite read the bottle. Is it the same thing as Ion Color Defense Leave In Therapy? That's all I could find that looked similar. Do you put that on prior to bleach bath just to prevent extra damage?

Do u have dark hair ? & I mean u can start off with 30 so u can have less damage but u would have to bleach it a few times : 40 volume does do some damage but u will fersure get to this platinum blonde ! Also if u want this color make sure u get the same toner !! The toner helped A LOOOOT !!! 🙏🏼❤️❤️

Honestly, try 20 volume first, don’t risk 30-40 volume it is way too strong and will fry ur hair off

That is true - but 20 volume will only lift a bit but if u want less damage u can always just keep using 20 volume everytime u dye it then slowly increase it to 40 but separate the time frames c:

I wanted to know can I do this bleach bath over the ends over my hair too?.. because my first round of pre lightened bleached hair is exactly like your but the ends have turned purple due to over toning .. I am just afraid of do too much damage to the ends yet I really cannot stand the bright purple tones at the ends of my hair

Isn’t a bleach bath done on wet hair? That’s the whole point. Technically you’re just bleaching your hair regular except adding a bit of conditioner.

Mmm I’m sure shampoo would be alright but if you have conditioner - that would be best . More creamy, so it’s an easy application:)

There’s nothing wrong with Sally’s at all. I could hook her up it’s the same stuff because.. “Blown away with how much better it works than Sally’s bs” Hairdressers and salons purchase their own products from Salon Services AKA Sally Hair and Beauty or Sally Direct(post), suppliers to salons they sell professional grade products so am not sure why you’d say that, I can’t buy anything chemical related in Salon Services without my trade card. 🇬🇧 Sally’s or Dennis Williams(the only other main contender for Sally here) are the only places salons shop for colour and peroxide and Sally is the main worldwide supplier everyone in the industry shops at.
