OMG Johnny! I want to say thank you so very much for this tutorial! I am 42 years young, and this is the by far absolute best eyeshadow tutorial I have ever seen! My mom used to spend 2 hours on her makeup, mostly on her eyes. She lived in that 1960's cat-eye look. I have never worn makeup partially because she was so extreme. You're so welcoming that I actually have thought about makeup for the first time in 54 years. Some of why I watch you is the attention to detail and the drug store makeup remind me of my mom at her best. But you have made it all accessible. Thank you.

I Will be catching up to you soon enough! Fortunately figured out skin care before I turned 20. It must have been something from a magazine. Eye cream became my raison de être. It just felt nice. Then, another bolt from the blue: *Zits go away; wrinkles are forever.* So I had to up my game. Most of the girls eschewed any kind of face lotions; too scared of triggering zits. Remember when we had Noxema, Pond’s, and that gawd awful orange Cover Girl foundation that reeked if more Noxema. Ugh. It was cool when Bonne Bell came along but skin care wasn’t their jam. Any procedure that my bank accounts allow, I’m there. I can honestly say I don’t look my age. Hopefully we can keep that going. For me, aging gracefully is not something nature would support 😅me with. I’ll get my own, thanks. I will leave you with this: *Jeanne Shrimpton is *everything.’❤

Hiya. I’m a blind guy ( I have 10 percent Vision left) and I really felt inspired to play with makeup because of you. As of last month I’ve been having so much fun trying different products. Of course as a newbie I’m experiencing the hardships of ‘muddy’ and ‘I look like a clown’ moments. Maybe not everyone has these moments, but I do. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I’m thankful for this video as it gave me new tips to try out and I think I found a few of my mistakes. You’re awesome!❤

I think you’re right! The muddy moments is what I try to avoid but I’m starting to think are necessary to perfect your technique. Bravo! Quick question, I find it pretty hard to see without my glasses and that keeps me from doing eye makeup, how do you do yours? I’m too old to lean into bathroom mirrors. Do you use particular tools?

This was phenomenal❗ You should do a "Make up 101 Series". All types of eyeshadow tutorials: daytime, evening, metallic, dramatic, natural, etc. Then a contouring tutorial. A blush and bronzer tutorial. How to choose foundations. How and when to use blenders, brushes and fingers. And how and why to choose colors of all make ups. And most of all how not to feel intimidated going into an Ulta or Sephora.

All of those young women in those stores were inexperienced at some point also; they should be glad to help you with choosing the right product and how to use it. If they aren't, they should be doing something else. It's their job to help people navigate the insane amounts of products from which to choose, and show you how to use them! They weren't born looking like that! Lol! Go....have fun with it!

Oooh so pretty. This is most comprehensive eyeshadow tutorial I've ever seen. The blending explanation like when u say" when you think you've run out of color, go ahead and blah blah", those are subtleties that help a dummy like me! Thank you for including hooded eye instruction#, can never match any eye looks because of this. The explanation of eye brushes is important because I've always thought, "well who cares about buying 50 different little brushes set, can just use whatever to apply". But there's a reason! Thank you💜🤗
