I don't understand. I only see hooded lids in the beginning, but once starting the tutorial, they are gone.. I think these are no hooded lids, where did the loose skin go? If I do this, the make up will cake in the creases and wrinkles. This girl has no wrinkles..

I remember the old OG KZbin beauty gurus used to say don’t put shimmer in the crease 😂 this is why it’s important to watch videos from people with the same features as you, like hooded eyes. Shimmer on the inner corner and crease has been my favorite technique to look more awake and bright eyed ☺️

In my 50s 2 of my 5 grandkids living most of the time with me and now my previously unhooded eyes have completely changed and became hooded. This was the first time using the technique and it was fairly easy. It took me longer than Smitha but after a couple of times it gets quicker. In my hectic life I don't have time for a long makeup routine so its either a quicky or go without 🤣 i hope you find it as helpful as I did. Best of luck 👍🙂 x

That effect is just stunning. But for me the problem is,that I don't have enough place between my eyelid/lashline and my eyebrow at all to apply eyeshadow. So the dark shadow is then exactly under my eyebrow and that obviously doesn't looks nice... I wonder if there is existing a trick too... But for individuals like you with more place under the eyebrow this is perfect☺

You can use glitter just a very fine glitter be sure to use concealer like she says it makes dabbing the glitter with your fingertip gently easy. Try it I thought the same thing just don't over do it. Blessings

Hi Smitha. I love your tutorials as I have hooded eyes too. Even when getting my makeup done by mua's they just didn't do my eyes justice. Since discovering your channel I do my makeup myself and people always compliment me and ask where I got my makeup done from!!! Only thing I struggle with is brushes, the standard eye brushes are too big for my hooded eyes and my eyeshadow just goes everywhere!!! Please do a tutorial on brushes which ones for each task and your reccomendations. Thank you love from the UK.
