I had to laugh watching this one! THIS is the end result I get every single time I get a haircut! Uneven, disconnected, not at all what I ask for - EVERYTIME. I've been to at least 6 stylists in the past few years, never going back to any of them! 🤦‍♀️ I get a cut, wait several months for it to grow out, and try again with a different stylist! I'm in the grow out phase again right now! Would it be rude to show your videos to a stylist!😂 Kidding, but tempted!

With fine hair, not even an inch of hair in front of my ears, and a deep recession area, it seems to work better for me not to cut into the hair below my recession area at all when doing any face framing or I end up with no hair on the sides and no solid perimeter. I fake it from the top of my head instead.
